Drake One Fifty
The server was terrible. The food was worse and over priced at that. Will never return.
Poor quality of food for the “Get Stuffed” Thanksgiving promotion. Disappointing.
If my GF says she likes it, that means it’s pretty damn good.
The pre-fixed Thanksgiving menu was dull and tasteless. One of the glasses of wine that was served was not the one that was ordered. Overall it was just not worth the money.
The food wasn't good. But the manager took care of it which was nice.
I would not go back.
Awesome food, one of the best in Toronto, specially the seafood. Waitress was super nice, they forgot to bring one of the plates but brought it as soon as we asked about it. Would 100% recommend/ come back. The price is a little above other places but you get what you pay for, and I think it was totally worth it.
Dinner was excellent and the courses were well timed. The server was exceptional: professional, well informed and a great sense of humour.
We went to Drake One Fifty for brunch and the food was great. It was a really friendly environment as well.
This particular meal wasn't as awesome as previous visits because of a mild chemical aroma coming through the vents due to some work being done underground. Other than that, the cocktails and food were delicious and the service was excellent. We enjoyed the Tomato Salad, hummus and truffle fries as appetizers before moving on to the Steak Frites, Gnocchi, Salmon and two burgers. The Drake Burger was perfect and I wouldn't have changed a thing. The Salmon was cooked perfectly, medium rare. The Gnocchi was a bit too al dente for our guest, unfortunately. We should have returned it but we got carried away with discussion. Overall, the meal was tasty and the service was with a smile. If the chemical (paint?) aroma wasn't there, I would've given this five stars.
Good food. A little bit noisy
I would suggest you don't go here for food.
Drinks are good
Food wasn’t that great. Service was normal. Just another topical Toronto downtown restaurant.
The atmosphere is great, and it was a reunion with a friend I haven’t seen for a bit so we were in great moods. The service and drinks were awesome, but I didn’t love the food. The cinnamon buns were chewy and dry and... not cinnamon-y at all? Not at all what I expected. Have already been back (for drinks the next day!) and would still recommend it, but will not be ordering those again!
The Drake benedict was delicious. Lots of yummy ham and the hollandaise included mustard for some nice flavor. We also had the Drake Breakfast which kept us full all day long. Live music for brunch is always a plus.
Casual ambience but not casual prices. Pricy menu but good food. The wine list is also on the pricey side for a casual spot but it’s nice stuff. Good service.
Service was basic, but not exceptional. Food was adequate, but I expected better for the price.
The tomato salad, wild boar carbonara and the margarita pizza were all excellent.
The happy hour vodka and tonic was all ice. I asked the waiter about the vodka content and the next drink had even more ice (if that was possible).
Food was excellent and the ambiance is always great at 150.
I do think the price points are a bit high, but not by much, and this also has nothing to do with the very good service and experience.
I'll be back, the bar seems like the next spot to sit!
I am a regular at Drake 150 and was hugely disappointed by the waiter who did a bait and switch on me with one of their specials. When ordering a steak frites, he upsold me to a NY striploin. What I discovered upon receiving the bill was that it was a Wagu cut at a cost of $120. This was a poor and misleading sales tactic. It feels like the waiter had a quota to reach and started to mislead clients to make his quota.
When I am told there is a special of the day and it is a NY striploin, I expect to pay between $45 and $75. Definitely no more than $85. He should have disclaimed that the special was wagu beef.
I will not be going to the Drake 150 again and am making it a point to let my network know of the poor experience I received.
Sunday live music just makes life so beautiful. True story: we were walking to Drake One Fifty singing Otis Redding "Dock of the bay" and that was the first song the band played. Swoon.
I love this place! I feel though certain items in the menu lack taste. I tried their happy hour sliders and I had better! Same with their pasta
Service is great. They are very attentive and will work with you if you are not satisfied with choices made.
Very good service, drinks, wine and food. Lively atmosphere but not too loud. Great DJ. Overall great experience.
Many delicious options, cocktails were so good. Rust and Bone 👌 The space is very cool and the high top benches are super comfy!
We had a reservation at another restaurant and were so disappointed for many reasons, so we decided to leave. We decided to take a chance on Drake One Fifty and are we ever glad we did! The experience from start to finish was incredible! We were also fortunate to get one last patio dinner in before the cold which was an extra bonus! We will definitely be returning!!
It was pretty loud but the restaurant was packed. Had the wedge salad, the cacio de Pepe and the lemon sorbet pistachio cream dessert. Everything was delicious. Lots of great drink and wine selections. Some of the menu items seem a bit overpriced. Love the dimmed lighting and atmosphere.
Service and atmosphere were great! Drinks were also good as was our starter (beef tartar). Meal was bland and over cooked (salmon). I would highly recommend drinks and apps here but not so much dinner.
We took our team out for lunch to welcome a new staff member. The lunch menu was delicious and had enough variety that everyone could order something they enjoyed. The staff were attentive and prompt with refills of waters and clearing plates. Overall, great experience!
Business lunch on a Friday. Service was slow and food was over salted. Won’t be back. Disappointed.
Celebrated wedding anniversary, were seated quickly in a somewhat secluded area. Server was attentive and knowledgeable. Food was incredible! Overall great experience!
Service was a little hit and miss - I don't like not being greeted within the first five minutes of sitting down. But after that it was fine and the food was excellent.
Good buzzy atmosphere and great friendly service. My steak was under seasoned and tastes of oil, however the pizza was the best I have had In many years. Would give it another try.
As always, the Drake 150 is perfect for the after-work networking opportunity. Great way to show someone the vibrancy of the city, take them to a cool place, and enjoy the whole experience! Staff, service and menu options are great, and I definitely appreciated the happy hour menu!
Great spot for a business dinner or date. Great cocktails and a solid menu. A nice unique vibe hidden amongst all the usual chains of the downtown core.
The food was horrible, I do not recommend this place. The ambiance was ok nothing great but the food was really bad. Don’t order the calamari appetizer they put cinnamon in it and the pasta sea food dish was terrible. The steak was raw and cold! It was just a terrible experience. Never going back to this restaurant again.!
Fun, exciting spot to grab food and drinks with a group of friends or an intimate night out. Great ambiance, great food, and drinks! Make sure to stop into the photobooth :)
Great service and meal! My work colleague really enjoyed ourselves. Will definitely go back.
Food was mediocre at best. We were seated near the kitchen where we watched line cooks, because that's all they are, eating while preparing food. When paying for our bill, the waiter hovered over us. I had to actually ask him to give my husband some space in order to put in his personal banking information. We won't be back.
Patio was nice but high tops only. Live band inside.
Sat at the bar and received great service, food and chat from the two lovely bartenders!
Food was terrible and overpriced for quality. Wine was good but paying $22 per glass was over the top!!!
