Indian
An Indian restaurant located close to Warren Street and Euston Square tube stations and Euston mainline station, Drummond Villa is popular with the after work crowd, offering affordable food in house as well as a takeaway menu. Efficient quick service in a pleasant atmosphere appeals to the always-in-a-hurry London diners who frequent the Drummond Villa with its unpretentious, clean dining room and well-spaced seating. Food here is typical of traditional British Indian restaurants, the menu an extensive selection of curries spiced to suit the Western taste, tandoori cooked dishes and, of course, all the relevant side dishes and sundries which really do make any Indian meal. Slightly off the beaten track, just off of the Hampstead Road and just two minutes walk from Euston, Drummond Villa is well worth seeking out for decent, realistically priced dining.

Lovely food and staff very friendly. Very loud party going on for which staff were apologetic but hardly their fault if people don’t know how to behave.

We sat outside on a warm summer night. The food was delicious and varied, the service attentive but now overwhelming. This was the first night of our holiday and we couldn't have spent it more happily. It was like being in Southern India. Highly recommended.

I brought a group of co-workers to this restaurant. The owner was so thoughtful and kind to organise a table outside with shading. They brought us popadums, which was great because some of us were starving. The waiters and owner (?) were super attentive and always there to help and serve. They were well presented, polite and caring. The food arrived quickly and we had very generous portions of food - I overate, but could not finish my plate! I was happy we did not get starters because I'd be unable to eat half of my main meal. Overall, this was amazing experience - the best one we had with our group so far in London. Very recommended!

The food was tasty and they made me garlic rice on request, even though it wasn't on the menu! I had two pints of Cobra which were refreshing and cool. Would recommend.

Our meal was quite good. If you are looking for a quick bite on Drummond Street this place is OK.

Friendly and warm, and food is tasty. Not posh, but good value for money and feels like it's authentic.

We where rushed and not left time to choose, specific wines and beers where not available Our chicken was just warm in both the starter and the main course, when mentioned the staff just walked off, wrong order came no nan so we gave up. Refused to pay service charged left meal and walked out. Disgusting!

I went to the Drummond Villa having read reviews on this site...we had the madras which wasn't as good as any I've had before anywhere else, it didn't have much chicken in it either. The onion salad appeared to have hung around for a while and the cucumber raita seemed to lack much cucumber, the only redeeming feature of the meal was the chicken jalfreizi which was very tasty with some interesting ingredients. We found the waiter grumpy and unsmiling and we certainly wouldn't go there again.
