Always enjoyed eating at Duet, but disappointed on last visit. Prices seem to have increased too.
As usual the welcome, service and food were up to the normal high standard. We enjoyed our evening and will come again.
Great choices, food is excellent . Service Is very good, I can’t fault this restaurant I would highly recommend it.
Gresat food really well cooked and presented. Staff attentive and pleasant, really good value for money .
Great food and very accommodating with choice . Restaurant wasn't full but was quite busy as it was a saturday night. Kept waiting for quite a while before drinks came and also a long wait to take order. Wasnt asked if we wanted more drinks and was hard to get a waiter to acknowledge us or come back once we asked a question. However this doesn't normally happen and will always go back.
Excellent food and service - thoroughly recommend!!!!
Fantastic place to eat. Food is served really quickly and is really good value for money. Highly recommended
Exceptional service. staff very attentive but not overpowering
Good and quick service in a friendly manner. We had the Indian option and all food was prepared to high level. Will go again.
Just felt a bit rushed. Waiter didn't top my wine up like they did the previous visit.
Service was great as was the atmosphere. We ordered steak and a rib eye steak however they had no rib eye so ordered lamb instead . We asked for the steak to be medium rare and this was perfect. We asked for the lamb to be well done however this was more like medium rare.
Well was a bit unsure to start but soon warmed up the service is good but the food and portions were fantastic had Italian and was impressed with the twist I won't spoil it for others but trust me Very nice
Superb menu choice means you keep having to go back ! Both Indian and Italian menus are extensive and all great value for money.
We went very early evening and the place was not occupied at that time by many eaters but I feel sure that the atmosphere is good with a good crowd in. Service was excellent and the food matched. Well done.
The decore may be strange and the choice of an India or an Italien menu unusual to say the least. Nevertheless, the India food was very good. Aromatic and not just tasting of a base sauce with a few extra spices. With lots of locals eating there I'd say a decent bet.
We were staying at the Fort Dunlop Travelodge overnight in order to go to the NEC the next day and were surprised to find there was a restaurant in the same building. The Italian/Indian theme seemed rather bizarre but the convenience of being able to walk meant it was a no-brainer to book our evening meal there. we were very pleasantly surprised. It was a Saturday night and we were fascinated to see that all sorts of different groups and couples were enjoying their evening out. Family parties, small groups, romantic couples. All seemed to be having fun and we enjoyed the people watching as well as the excellent food. Sevice was prompt, efficient and delivered with a smile.
Read about this restaurant in the hotel magazine and decided to try it as we were a group of 8 with children. Adults wanted Indian and kids wanted Italian. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. Restaurant was absolutely empty and the staff were as miserable as hell. The only time they smiled was when we were leaving!!
We have been to this restaurant a number of times and enjoyed the Indian menu. On this occasion we went for the Italian option and really enjoyed the Insalata alla Caprese and Funghi all’Italiana starters, for the mains my wife had Pollo ai Funghi and I was pleasantly surprised by the Pasta Piccante Agnello which was cooked with a curry sauce. I would definitely go back again!
I booked duet cuisine to take my partner and mom out for a Mother's Day lunch, I found the service great and staff couldn't be happier to help, the food arrived quickly and was very tasty.
My only downfall was that there was no sign of any central heating, as it was quite chilly in there
Overall visit though was great, good value food would definatly recommend
Overall very good but food a little too salty. Very good atmosphere and will visit again.
Lovely atmosphere.great service as usual!delicious food.
we have used this restaurant many times since it opened - we have taken friends and family to eat there and not once have we been disappointed. the staff are so very attentive and polite - the food has always been absolutely brilliant.
we would happily recommend this venue to the world.
We have eaten at this restaurant before and again we were not disappionted, all the food was very tasty, fantastic just like our last visit. Would go again to try different dishes.
Duet Cuisine is located in the iconic Fort Dunlop and is Indian & Italian cuisine, i had been there a couple of years ago and was well impressed, so i suggested to some friends that we eat there. We had a platter of starters to begin with and was very tasty, we then went for the main and to be honest it was okay, not good, not bad but okay and we all agreed so it wasn't just me
Fantastic food and service as always and at a reasonable price.
We visited Duet Cuisine on a Tues eve. Once we found it - unusual spot in an industrial park easy to miss - we were greeted by friendly staff. Pleasant decor and extensive menu. We opted for Indian. Slightly more expensive than many SE England curry houses and slightly smaller portions. Nice poppadums and pickles. Tasty mains; meat v tender, if smaller pieces than we are used to. Dessert menu typical frozen fare and inexpensive. An enjoyable meal, but we probably wouldn't rush back.
12 of us went to duet cuisine - the service was very good - all the meals except for one got a bit mixed up but it was sorted out very quickly. The starters and main meals were all very nice and we all said we should go again for sure.It was not too dear either, as we had three children with us who were well looked after
Duet is a really clever idea. For those that dont like curries it give you the oppotunity to join those that eat nothing but! Friendly waiting staff, interesting decor (not too sure I liked it) and good food make this a restaurent to go and find as it is a bit off the beaten track. We had 90% Italiean which was good and 10% curry which was excellent.
Duet - Fort Dunlop Birmingham
As always a great meal with excellent service. Always friendly and never have to wait long for our food, always happy to bring friends who have not been before knowing they will be impressed
The food was amazing at Duet Cuisine it tasted great and full of flavor. There is a great choice on the menu serving both Indian & Italian. The tables are well spaced apart so you don't feel on top of each other like in some other places. The staff are friendly. I high recommend this place.
Great food and A+ service! really nice people!
Good Food, Excellent Service
Wonderful food with a huge range of selection for all tastes. Service excellent and good value for money
Great food, Service was poor with a few errors however they were low on waiting staff for a Saturday nights service. Coke was expensive and warm. Pizza dishes are quite cheap in comparison to others.
Very Tasty food and spacious dining area. You're not ontop of each other like smaller establishments.
Overall we came away satisfied.
Duet Cuisine - Fort Dunlop, Birmingham. Very welcoming staff with excellent service.Wide menu choice across Indian / Italian cuisine. Generous portions and Good value for money. Only downside is the location which is essentially a retail park which apart from the restaurant was desserted. Ample parking. Would definitely recommend. Also good for Groups.
Excellent service, very reasonably priced and the atmosphere was relaxing. In our group was a vegetarian who is always diffcult to please but they couldnt have been happier with the choice available to them. There wasnt a single complaint from our group, the food was wonderful
Booked duet cuisine fort dunlop about 45 minutes before we went for 10 adults and 2 children, and we were not disappointed, starters and all main meals were really nice and the service was very good and quick for all of us. We all agreed we would go back as the food was nice - an indian starter and italian main or the other way round makes a nice change.
Good setting, great wine selection and very helpful staff (sometimes just a tad too attentive). Didnt think that both Italian and Indian could work together, but it really does. They are very confident about it, and it most certainly comes across in the interior. All in all, good times.
Duet Cuisine at Fort Dunlop
This was our second time at eating at this restaurant and we were not disappointed, the service was very good and friendly waiters, and the food very tasty just like our last visit. I will be eating here again for sure. Clean toilets. Very good all round
Unfortunately we were the only diners. The food was extremely good though only the Indian was on offer. The waiter was friendly and professional. I would certainly dine here again.
Duet Cuisine Birmingham, i found this on the net and what a find, from the outside it looked like offices and i was not sure what to expect, but on entering i was very surprised and pleased, we were greeted and seated straight away, the choices of starters in indian and italian sounded really good, we ordered a indian starter, italian main meals and desserts, all the food was very good and the service really good. I can't wait to go again in a few months time
