   Good, but very expensive. The atmosphere is nice, but wish they'd soften the acoustics in the room so conversations don't echo throughout the space. the weinerschnitzel was delicious as was the food the others in the party enjoyed. The prime rib was grossly though. It really should have been sent back especially at $54! I'd still recommend for a special occasion.

   Literally everyone at the restaurant wished us a happy anniversary! The wait staff couldn't have been nicer. And the food was delicious. My wife and I had some of the speciality martinis (amazing), strip steak and wienrschnitzel (terrific), but the desserts were hand's-down the best part. Chocolate mousse, peanut butter lava cake and raspberry linzertorte was heavenly.

   The food was excellent. I had a prime rib, my wife had the lobster crepes, both excellent. Our server gave us just the right amount of attention. We definitely recommend Duling-Kurtz and will go there again!

   Very cool and charming historic building, with decor that sort of reminds me of an elegant version of my grandmothers house. I mean that in a good way. The menu was surprisingly more modern than I expected, although it's still had some traditional Bavarian fair. Everything was executed perfectly, with the only minor hiccups in service being things like not being offered fresh ground pepper on salads, etc. Very nice experience overall, and having the staff all smile and say thank you on our way out at the end of the night was a really nice touch.

   Had dinner at Duling Kurtz on Mother's Day 2022 with my wife and 2-children. We love coming here for the ambiance, quiet and great food! For the appetizers, we had the Caesar and Havest salads along with the baked Brie. They were all exceptional dishes. The Harvest salad was fresh as the candied pecans added a nice sweetness to it. Moving on to the entrees, I had the twin crab cakes with pureed sweet potatoes and Broccoli Rabe, my son had the lamb chops, my daughter the short ribs and my wife the filet. All of the dishes arrived simultaneously right out of the kitchen and were fantastic with the right balance of meat and vegetables. For dessert the chocolate lava cake and raspberry tart were ordered and consumed within a short time. All very good!

   Went for Mothers Day. Place was packed as it should be. Service, food, drinks all fantastic. Wild Boar was a bit tough. Filets, prime ribs, bass all so very tasty.

   Even though it was Mother’s Day & the restaurant was totally packed the quality of the food was just phenomenal. Our server Diana worked her butt off & in spite of all the tables she had to manage, her attention to detail was just superb ! A fabulous dinner & evening all the way around.

    It’s a hidden gem, the food is always consistent, which is really important to my husband and I. And it’s a beautiful, picturesque, place, so warm and friendly.

    Have enjoyed previous dinners here, but this time was disappointing. Cucumber soup looked like an unappealing gruel. Steak was overdone and salmon looked hastily prepared with skin still attached.

    Quiet night with rain. Waitperson was both efficient and witty. Octopus appetizer not distinguished but baked Brie and popovers both superb. I had schnitzel which was quite good. Happy to return

    Food was good but could have been better. The smoked salmon/smoked duck appetizer would have been better if they just dropped the duck and used more salmon instead. The smoked duck tasted like a piece of ham and did not go well with the salmon. The lobster crepes were similarly ok, but there was not enough sauce on top and the mashed potato accompaniment was uninteresting. The lobster filling was a little salty and not particularly fresh tasting or enjoyable. Again - ok, but for $48 not especially great. The risotto was good but again not great. Finally, the creme brulee needed some more browning on the surface and was a little flat on flavor. We will probably try the restaurant again, but will look at different selections next time.

    An absolutely phenomenal dinner at this wonderful restaurant. Dining next to the fireplace was just perfect on a chilly evening. Our server Diana had a lot of patience with us and took care of our every special need and request which made our dining experience here just simply over the top. I have to mention that the Lobster Crêpes were to die for !

    Last time here was about 20 years ago. Still as good as ever. Excellent escargots and rack of lamb superb. Very good lobster bisque. Wife's salmon was a bit small and risotto not to her liking . Desserts very fine as well- creme brulee, choc. mousse. Wines reasonably priced and good selection. Service most competent and pleasant. Atmosphere very charming and "quaint". We were on the second floor (nothing wrong with that) but some of us are a bit older and had trouble negotiating the stairs a bit. Overall a most pleasant dining experience. We will be back well before another 20 year hiatus !

    We started at the bar, where Michael expertly prepared cocktails as always - what a wonderful experience! And the food and service were as tremendous as ever, we tried 2 of the dinner specials and were extremely pleased, but Duling Kurtz always exceeds expectations. Looking forward to our next meal there already.

    We dine here weekly, it’s our Date Night place. The staff is so pleasant and Michael the Bartender is well aware of his bar guests and proving great cocktails. It is such a nice weekend place to reconnect over a nice dinner with your special person.
