Would highly recommend Cut & Grill, the service was second to none, couldn't do anymore for you and the food was outstanding. I informed them prior to our visit that it was our anniversary and they made some nice touches to the table, with heart sprinkles and heart candle holder, made our evening that even more special, will definitely return More

The food is excellent. I found the dining room a little bland with on this occasion lots of other customers walking through to the other private area dining room . The plants around the room are fake which is a shame . Bar prices were reasonable and the drinks menu is vast but clear . The crockery and cutlery were good quality and added to an overall very satisfying dining experience. Gluten free bread also was available on request. Thanks More

Been wanting to eat here for a while so it was great to have the opportunity when friends came to stay with me. Booking was simple, service was great especially when asked to make a bloody Mary, it was very good. Sunday lunch was amazing and so was the delicious apple crumble. Would highly recommend More

Lovely food. Good service but a bit slow. I appreciate it was very busy but as they already had our orders felt the wait in between starter and main was a bit too long. Pleasant staff though so would definitely go again. More

At Claverton Country House Hotel you will find an elegant Edwardian property surrounded by landscaped gardens. The property was originally built in 1910. As a family home it has seen generations of only four families. Built for the Lane family as their country retreat the bell system in the kitchen still has their names painted in gold under each room. Following the Lanes, the house was owned by Group Captain Holmes. As manager of the England Cricket team he hosted many dinners here for the team and was decorated during World War Two. Kerry and Lorraine purchased the property from the Davies’ in 2002. During the Davies’ tenure it is rumoured that the property would often host the patrons of the Queen’s Head Pub in Sedlescombe when it closed on a Sunday!More
