A group of 12 of us had dinner at Bohemia one Friday night. The staff were very attentive and helpful - dealing with a rowdy group without any stress. The waiter was brilliant and made the night go very smoothly indeed. The food is good - it's more of a bar with a food menu but I can recommend it for friends who was a fun night out. Very good value! MoreOpenTable Diner -
It's tucked away on a rather shabby street, but the restaurant itself has loads of character and a nice feature fireplace that's great for cold blooded people like me. The service was excellent while being very laid back and informal, which was ideal, and the food was delicious. Perfect for a cosy, unpretentious lunch or dinner. MoreOpenTable Diner -
What a find! Lovely, genuinely friendly service. Probably the nicest Mexican food both of us have ever had. Very fresh ingredients, subtle flavours and good cooking. Mexican without the derivative stodge. Great meat, veggie and vegan options. Very reasonably priced. Also a dog friendly restaurant. MoreOpenTable Diner -
I wasn't a fan of the dry dough on the starters, which led to me already being suspicious of the pizza dough. Luckily the pizza was fine. I had the 5 cheese and it was a standard 5 cheese pizza. Where the company did well is that their cocktail was delicious! Thank you MoreOpenTable Diner -

The Devil's Dyke in Brighton is a country pub oozing rural charm and rustic character. Our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.
Whether you are planning dinner with friends or Sunday lunch with family, book a table online and enjoy some quality time with those you love the most.
The pub restaurant offers an ideal spot to rest after a day exploring the Devil's Dyke Valley, from which it got its name. According to local folklore the valley is an unfinished trench which was dug by the Devil in an attempt to flood the churches of the Weald. The valley now plays host to The Dyke Golf Club and Dyke Golf Course.
Our pub is on the beautiful Downs with great views overlooking Brighton - on a clear day can see London. It takes its name from the nearby beauty spot, a valley supposedly dug by the Devil.More
The booking was fine except we asked for a quiet table as we are both head of hearing and it was our anniversary. We were seated with two large parties and so had trouble hearing each other. Not very romantic either. The service was good and very friendly. The food was very nice except we had only just put the last mouthful of our starters in our mouths and the mains arrived! Some of the food was a little cold. The wine was lovely and we were able to have a free bottle by choosing food from the weekend treat menu. Just love their mini puds with a coffee! Unfortunately the restaurant didn’t have any record of our booking when we arrived and the maitre’d was a bit offhand, but he did find us a table. It took a while before we got our requested highchair but once a waiter was assigned to our table he was absolutely lovely. The food was very good with only one exception, some profiteroles which were hard and possibly only recently thawed out. A decent family-friendly option in Brighton. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Fabulously flamboyant, the Regency Tavern is one of the best-known pubs in Brighton - with glitz, glamour and great food and drink making it one of the city’s must-visit venues.
One of two pubs still standing in Brighton that applied for the original 'Beer Shop Licence' in 1830, it’s richly decorated in the Regency style of that era - strewn with ornate furnishings, gilt mirrors and luxurious drapes. Even the lavatories here come complete with mirror balls and sparkle …
There’s plenty of substance to go with the style though. The Regency Tavern offers a wide choice of traditional cask ales and distinctive international lagers, as well as an excellent wine selection, sourced from independent producers around the world.
And it wouldn’t be The Regency without a sparkling atmosphere to backdrop your dinner and drinks. More
We ate dinner first, one evening with the off chance that my international guests could sample England's fish and chips. We instantly decided to and ate the amazing food from the menu. Italien tapas, mussels that were cooked to perfection and great beer. I had already arranged to meet some friends (10 people) there on the Sunday as well for a roast, with very high expectations, which were more than exceeded! I grew up in Brighton and it is hands down, one of the best Sunday roasts I've had. We had a 9 month old with us both times and were a large booking the 2nd both time with a large booking.
