Fantastic service as always
Nice to see how careful they’re being with covid regulations and very prompt service.
Wonderful atmosphere and Karene was amazing running the staff who all smiled under their masks!
The food was outstanding, especially the avocado bread with poached eggs. These are a reason to come back. The place has a great decor, a little on the dark side but cozy.
My only feedback to the restaurant is that they shouldn’t be so pushy trying to get you to order water (which isn’t in the menu) and it should be disclosed that it is at a cost. Also, the size of the juices are tiny. Not small, tiny. At 4£.
Just being careful with this things, I think the overall experience would be excellent
The waitress was really good when she however quiet slow to see anyone, food arrived before the drinks, we had also asked for water and had to ask again as that didn’t arrive. Overall okay, slightly overpriced but it was good quality
Brunch was ok. Nothing bad , nothing spectacular. Have had many better ones. Booked on open table for 3 ppl. On the booking confirmation says we can have the table for 2 hrs. We weren't actually planning to stay for 2 hrs anyway. We were told that they would need the table in 5 mins after being there for 1 hr.
Had a lovely experience, even though it was Saturday evening we experienced an outstanding service by all the waiters and hostesses who took the time to make our evening unforgettable. Food was great, ambience was inspiring, and even though (or because) the noise level was very high, you can sit very closely to another table without being disturbed by the people‘s conversations next to you! Always love coming back here, just please put a veggie burger on the menu!
Quirky venue with good service slightly let down by the style of menu (American diner-like). Having said that my steak was beautifully cooked but I feel the menu could be upgraded given the quality of the venue and offering.
Restaurant is near the cinema we were headed so that was okay. The salad was very nice and tasty and our waitress was very nice. There was a very loud group of americain kids that was very annoying. I couldn’t have a conversation with my son because of the noice.
The aubergine and mozzarella and corn bread were divine
Excellent food and presentation - loved the French toast
What can I say ? I brought my sister to the electric cinema and followed that by visiting the diner for her 50th birthday the manager on duty at the time was brilliant and really made a fuss of her and went the extra mile I couldn’t thank her enough ( apologies can’t remember her name )
Would recommend to friends and family and will definitely be back
A BIG thank you
Such a lovely experience. We often come for breakfast here but on this day it was my sons 7th birthday. He ordered the pancakes and we were surprised when they arrived with a candle in them and the staff sang happy birthday. It was lovely and made him feel really special.
We weren’t charged for my sons pancakes which was such a surprise and was very much appreciated. A lovely touch. The staff were great, friendly and our food was delicious.
Amazing diner, great food and service as always. Have been coming here for many years, a treasure in London. keep it up!! ❤️❤️❤️
Good vibe and good time! Just need to sort out toilet smell. Find ways to make the place smell nicer
Great place for really good variety for breakfast! Great service provided by our server, Wahida! She was so friendly and helpful with information about the city. Would definitely go back on our next trip back.
Excellent service. The staff and good was amazing out of this world but the place cud of been a bit brighter as i went with a person who is slightly blind but was ok in the end
The best diner In town for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner , you will never go wrong here
The portions were a little on the small side and the service was a little slow given it wasn't very busy. The staff were friendly as always and I enjoyed the experience overall.
A cool diner experience to enjoy a bite to eat before a film!
Excellent service and atmosphere. A hidden gem in London!
Enjoyed my meal here. It was very busy & noisy our table of two was a little cramped literally inches from the table next to us. Would definitely request a booth next time.
The Reuben sandwich was outstanding.
really good, great food and service, quick timings for eating before a film. unfortunately marked down for ambiance because of how loud it was - difficult to hear the person across the table! other than that, would definitely recommend.
All the food was good apart from the poached eggs which were definitely soft boiled, came served with the wrong bread that was asked for and no butter. When this was pointed out the waitress told us 'that was the order' and didn't try to rectify the meal. The menu should state all food items in the item ordered, the salads especially were vague in their descriptions.
It was a great tasting meal. We have been here once before, the first time we were sat in a booth in the main area, which was a great atmosphere and very attentive waiting staff.
The second time, we were placed round near the entrance to the toilets. Admittedly we chose to sit there instead of being sandwiched in-between other small tables. It wasn't as good an atmosphere but the food was still amazing.
We will definitely be back again, we will just make sure we sit in the main area, preferably a booth :)
Good drinks, great food.
Great food and fun atmosphere with friendly, helpful wait staff!
Staff were very friendly, food came fast and was delicious. It’s a little pricey for what it is but that is expected considering the location
Nice place and good food and reasonably priced
Great food, nice helpful staff. Attentive but not hovering. Honey fried chicken was a revelation!
Amazing food and fantastic service. A lovely evening! Thanks.
Perfect for an english breakfast experience in Notting hill.
Food and atmosphere was terrific and the service was amazing.
Would absolutely recommend it and will do our very best to return!!
Pam, Katherine and Richard from New York
It was ok nothing special. It’s a great restaurant lovely atmosphere but the service really let us down. It look a while to get served and the food came quickly. Staff seems very pretty occupied.i asked for a second drink that never appeared. Tables far to close together, giving the impression that they are trying to get as many covers in as possible. Had to yell to get the attention of server for the bill.
Food was good and well valued but not amazing.
If I was to go again I would ask to sit at the bar - looked more spacious
Great place to meet and eat - good food, with lively atmosphere and friendly staff
Best gastro-pub in London.
Everything was perfect. Large portions. Friendly staff
Superb ! Everything always !
Waitress brought us Bacon waffles without bacon, as they didn't have any, no warning, not asking us if we wanted something else. Instead of bacon they gave us maple sirup! So incomplete order, same price.
When we asked about it, waitress LIED that maple sirup is a part of the order, which it is not.
Horrible experience to get lied in your face.
Would not recommend this place.
It was too loud to chat, but other than the music volume level we enjoyed it.
So Nice - loved the food, the ambience, the location. Followed up with movie - loved it
The food was shockingly bad, we actually made two complaints but the waitress seemed not to understand what I was talking about when I told her the green beans were still raw and cold and when we sent the dessert back we barely got an apology from the staff. Only enjoyed 2 things on the Thanksgiving menu, quite a shame as one of our guests had previously enjoyed eating at the Electric Diner... maybe just a bad night with the one-time menu. Not wildly expensive but still not worth the £45 each for the meal.
