We started with the steamed buns. They were extremely fatty and not very flavorful. The ribs were delicious and the brisket was amazing. I would not recommend the crab cakes, they had good flavor but not enough crab for my liking. Service was great though. Would definitely go back.
We tried this restaurant during restaurant week. The food was delicious and the service great. We were greeted by Scott, the manager who was friendly and gracious. Our waiter James made me the best sweet tea that I have tasted anywhere other than South Carolina. The bread pudding was absolutely delicious. Almost as good as my mom's. We will definitely be going back.
We were visiting the area and our hotel concierge recommended the restaurant and it was an excellent selection. The food was provided in abundance, and our waiter Sam was awesome.
We had a late lunch to celebrate my mother’s 86th birthday - so it was very quite at the time. Service was excellent, food - standard southern barbecue fare - unremarkable (maybe due to the timing of our visit.) The restaurant did not acknowledge our special occasion except for a mere oral greeting which was mentioned only in passing. No special treat was provided to our disappointment.
The service was great! Extremely hospitable. Food was delicious. The bacon sprouts and collards were amazing! Definitely will bring family here and / or business clients.
Everything was great. Food and service was great. The only negative was how small and close the seating is to each other. I will dine again.
Food great, atmosphere really cool. Service a little choppy.
I loved everything about this restaurant! The service was GREAT and the food was AWSOME!
Tried this restaurant for Restaurant Week. The burnt ends made the meal.. dont quite understand why the brisket didnt taste as good, it was ok. The macaroni and cheese just needed the noodles to cook a tad bit longer and my preference a little more cheesy. My date had the ribs and they didnt fall off the bone, they as well was ok. I would visit again for the burnt ends.
Called and requested reservations for party of 22 who were arriving from out of town. Gave them 30min notice and they were able to accommodate us and the service and food were top notch.
The service was good but the burnt ends were dry, and the $28 ribeye had a sweet maranade and was over cooked and dry.
Great place to relax on a Friday night! Fully Recommended!
This place is a TREASURE.
Really great food & service - Will definitely be back!
Excellent food. We had steak and prime. Both cooked to perfection. Excellent service. Will definitely go back soon.
Cocktails were awesome!
Great food as always.
Father’s Day was terrible , reservation was not ready had to wait and staff was very rude but the waiter was very nice, we requested a booth and didn’t get one and our steaks were over cooked so everything was wrong about this experience and they had a nice menu but I don’t think I would ever really know
We really enjoy Epic and have been many times. The food is always great as well as the service and you can always hear the people you are eating with. Highly recommend it.
Convenient location to many hotels and the mall. My husband had a prime rib, which was excellent, however my rib-eye was subpar at best. I will give Epic another chance, however will not order steak. Service was pretty good and wine prices was fairly reasonable.
My team held a going away dinner for one of our people. You put us in a booth near the bar. Food, volume, and drink were amazing. I plan to hold all our get together events at Epic.
My first visit, great service but unfortunately the food was just average.
We order the pulled pork , it was very good, portion was enough for 2.
From the appetizers we had the burnt ends that were good but a bit greasy.
Our server was very efficient, food took less than 10 minutes to arrive.
Noise level was fine, good enough to have a quiet conversation. Staff was kind.
This was a great option to have a good dinner, with very efficient service.
Food was underwhelming, and restaurant was very loud which made it difficult to talk with my friend across the table.
Brisket was great, good flavor and not dry at all. The Mac and Cheese was delicious and fresh.
Great place the vegi posta is amazing
Love this restaurant. The food and the service are great.
Classic smokehouse experience.
Food was served hot and well. I would recommend this location to a friend. Cocktails and wines were diverse. Limited restroom facility. (Men's restroom was out of order and Women's restroom door could not lock.)
Food is not amazing. Too greasy for meat that is supposed to stay hours in a smoker. Disappointing and quite expensive.
Great place the root veggie plate is amazing
Ordered the shrimp pasta and was told out of shrimp. So I got a dry tasteless burger and my son got tasteless fried chicken. The smoked sausage was under cooked and the beef brisket was try.
Great food, cocktails, ambiance and service. Epic never disappoints!
I don't like negative reviews, however, there were many issues with our dinner. We knew price points going in and our expectations were high. The burnt ends and caesar salad were delicious. The horseradish encrusted smoked prime rib was bland and mushy, I assumed it would have a crusty horseradish bark but it did not and I got no smoke. The leek and potato mash was dry and had no leek flavor at all. My husband had the brisket, which was good. He was told it came with mac/cheese and Cole slaw. He received mac/cheese only. Our iced tea and coke were $3.50 a piece, which is ridiculous! Finally, our server never came back to check on how our food was, whether I was happy with the cook on my prime rib, nothing. He did refill our drinks and offer dessert before presenting us with a check. As we left, no one inquired if we were happy with our meal either. For an $80 check for two, I would expect much more.
The food is so delicious!
Epic is a place I go regularly—their happy hour has good value, their food is delicious. If I could criticize any point, I would say that they skimp on the lettuce in their salads, which seems very odd to me. But, I keep going back in spite of that!
Amazing as always.
Soggy and bland prime rib, worst I’ve ever had. Two-person tables leave you too far apart to talk. Also sun in my eyes for half of dinner through window shades. Do not recommend.
Very enjoyable meal. The appetizers (the calamari and the wings) were delicious, but as large a portion as we were expecting. All four the main dishes were great. I had the beef short ribs. The only disappointment was the Mac & Cheese. None of us thought it was very good.
Every aspect of our dinner was exceptional. From the front door where we were met by a team of very friendly people to our server who was terrific. Our two steaks we’re delicious loved the experience
