Excellent food and diverse selection of appetizers and entrees.
Friday lunch easy and perfect food and service
This restaurant is always excellent.
Excellent cuisine, knowledgable and professional service, somewhat cramped environment.
We really enjoyed out meal , the mussel where extremely good , our server was very helpful to guide us with our wine selection , we have try an Italian wine quintarella it was out of this world , will be back soon
Lunch at Et Voila is just as delighful and tasty and dinner.
We had a lovely lunch. I loved the carrot soup and beet salad. My friends loved their omelet and onion soup. Staff are very welcoming and attentive.
Love Et Voila, the beef carbonade is exceptional, service was friendly and the host very welcoming
Will be back with more friend
I love this restaurant! Wonderful staff and wonderful food. Thanks!
A lovely evening with friends, attentive service while allowing us to linger with no rushing.
Requested a table in the new section for my BD, but we were seated in the loud dining room with the kids. Felt rushed, our check was $260 for 4 so we were not eating apps.
It’s a very homey place with excellent food. I went there for a birthday brunch and it’s was a great place.
Short rib Bourguignon was delicious. Very nice ambience, tables are a little close together though. Desserts (chocolate waffle, Alex cake) were decadent.
Vday. Wifey said Lobster was not fully cooked.
Always a good meal. Service is excellent .they don't rush you. Very friendly.
The food was amazing and the service very attentive.
Wonderful meal. Just a little noisy when restaurant was full but still excellent place to dine
We went for my birthday.
The food, and service were excellent . It is a lovely restaurant and I highly recommend it
Average nothing special
Thanks again for a great meal - we really enjoyed the great service and wonderful food. The specials were really good and by no means an afterthought . great service form all of the staff. We look forward to coming back soon.
Busy and popular neighborhood bistro, reservations essential. Good not great food, very pricey.
Wonderful food and a bargain for lunch with 3 courses for $30. Would have preferred a regular table vs. high top for group of 6. Service fine, but lacked finesse.
You do not have to go all the way downtown for wonderful food. Et Voila serves it right up in the neighborhood. Duck Confit is the BEST EVER!
Favorite place to have a catch up with dear friends. Meal, service and ambiance were as lovely as ever.
Fantastic food and wait staff!
We always have a great experience at Et Voila. The food is always delicious. Best onion soup in town. Other favorites: Belgian Endive salad, fries and the Irresistible profiteroles.
Thank you for maintaining such a consistently high level of excellence.
Charming restaurant. Delicious food! Great neighborhood place.
As always the food was excellent (and plentiful); the daily special, cioppino was particularly good - very flavorful, with plenty of tender seafood (although I do wish, as a matter of principle, that prices were added to the recitation of specials, particularly if the dish is priced a little higher than others in the category on the regular menu; I would have purchased it anyway - but, as said, it's a matter of principle, and principal). Service was attentive, despite a lunchtime crowd - and the renovated interior, while not luxe, is certainly warm and welcoming. A real keeper.
If you love Belgium food and a good selection of beers, this is the place in DC to go!
Had a wonderful 80th birthday dinner with my mom at Et Voila this past Saturday. Both the rabbit and the stew were marvelous, as were the hors d'oeuvres. Dessert was sweet and lovely - but I'm not really a meringue fan so not perfect. When in doubt, stick to chocolate!
Excellent meal. Seated on time with a knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful server. Dishes (Pate, Duck Confit, Short Ribs, and a couple of desserts) were all outstanding. Plan to return.
This neighborhood gem has changed over the years. You now walk into a crowded bar and a line of people waiting to be seated. Despite a reservation we waited a 1/2 hour to be seated. We were given a glass of perseco while we waited. Once seated the mussels were as delicious as I remembered .
Thank you for your feedback. In fact Et Voila is more and more popular. We will be happy to host you again in the future for a quietest night ! Thank you Sylvain Frances General Manager
We love this restaurant and they were very accommodating about a special birthday event.
Thank you Patricia ! See you soon. Sylvain Frances General Manager
After being introduced to this restaurant some years ago, I've taken other friends there and the whole experience has always been positive plus. It's a true gem of a restaurant and I plan to go back many times in the future. I have no doubt that the other appetizers are great; however, I"ve always ordered the endive salad and never disappointed. The mussels in four different offerings never cease to be extra delicious. This restaurant deserves the top rating of Washington establishments
Dear Erich, It was our pleasure to serve you. Thank you for your kind comment. It always a pleasure to read about your positive experience at Et Voila Restaurant. We will be happy to host you soon for dinner or Lunch. See you soon. Sylvain Frances General Manager
Pricey both food and drinks
Also minimal portions ... including the mussels
Solid and cheerful service
Such a wonderful place, with wonderful food.
It could be a lot better if they weren't stingy with 5 oz wine pours by the glass, and included half-glasses as an option.
When I got the message that they had the cassoulet and foie gras on their specials I made the reservation immediately. It’s a dish not to be missed when they have it in the winter. We also had the escargots which were prepared perfectly and the sauce did not hide their taste. Service was great as usual and it was a perfect way to officially start my birthday celebration!
Merci Florence ! It was a pleasure to celebrate your birthday at Et Voila. We are happy that you liked the Cassoulet. See you soon ! Sylvain Frances General Manager
