This is a true gem. The food is always excellent. The service is impeccable. The ambiance is warm and inviting. It is one of our favorites.
The food is always excellent. There were four in our party and each order something different (salmon, beef stew, halibut-special, and steak).
Terrific food, great service. One of our favorites!
Thanksgiving Day Dinner was delicious! The service and cuisine were outstanding. We had a lovely family evening and the opportunity to dine out in a neighborhood gem on a busy holiday was greatly appreciated by my family. The mains were rigatoni Bolognese, filet, mussels and I had the traditional Turkey dinner. My adult kids were impressed with everything. Thank you and kudos to the staff who provided knowledgeable and impeccable service. Thank you.
Great little place in a nice neighborhood. Food was great.
This was a special Thanksgiving service, but they offered several "regular menu" options. As usual, the service and food was exceptional. A great restaurant!!
Wonderful Thanksgiving meal! Everyone at the table got a different dish, thanks to the rare ala carte offering on this holiday. Et Voila is a treasure!
A delicious and delightful meal
Wonderful as usual. Our daughter was in town so we decided to go out for a late dinner. She wanted a beer that wasn’t on the menu and without any hesitation the waitress went off to see if she could find it in their store and sure enough they had it. Just an example of how thoughtful they are. Can’t recommend them enough!
The best moules-frites in town. Delightful service and delicious food. Try the Alex cake you won't be sorry!
Great French/Belgian food that brings back memories of great meals in brasseries and bistrots in Brussels, Paris, and towns across France.... Can't go wrong with the hangar steak and 'frites'....
Wonderful experience! I love the place. And the staff is so nice.
Great martinis, excellent wine list, she had the sole...fantastic, I had the duck leg which was amazing. Salad was the goat cheese with greens and lightly dressed. One of my favorite Belgian-French restaurants.
Service excellent. Ambience good. Food very good except that hanger steak, from the first bite, was extremely chewy. Waiter and management offered to replace with another dish. Exchanged for grilled trout, which was excellent.
Excellent night. Food was perfect. Thank you Et Voila!
Outstanding Belgian/French cuisine wonderfully prepared, and served hot by the excellent waitstaff. Wine list was good and very well priced. This restaurant is definitely a keeper.
Delicious food and relaxing atmosphere. Service was sophisticated and excellent!
Great food ambiance and service!!
Food was very tasty. Perfect place to meet for business or with friends
Delicious as always. The food is just consistently great.
We go to Et Voila about once a month on average and it never disappoints. This time we had guests from out of town and they greatly enjoyed the the food and the atmosphere. Truly a neighborhood gem.
The food on this visit wasn't as good as previous meals. I had the trout which was very bland. My husband had the beef carbonnade which was dry. He had to request extra sauce. The caesar salad was excellent as was Alex's cake. The service is always excellent.
Took one of the outside tables in early November. Et voila offered a great menu and setting for an autumnal lunch.
While we love this restaurant, it has become too popular and consequently too crowded. I was concerned that servers would drop s something into my lap or that my neighbor would stick a fork by error into my food. The food was, as always excellent, but i will think twice about returning
Visiting from Atlanta, found Et Voila recommended by Washington Post food critic. Everything exceeded expectations — wine, food service, value. Only tip for others would be that portions are huge and entrees like hanger steak come with a large green salad and fries or another side. We loved everything, even though it was too much food! Would love to have Et Voila sister restaurant in our neighborhood!!!
Slow service (but not unfriendly) , standard menu items not available, good food made up for it but only partially.
Server was great, though extremely overworked. The selection of Belgian beer was quite nice, and there were many offerings on the menu that I was excited to try.
The service was very slow, and things like water refills did not happen frequently enough. All 4 entrees were over cooked, especially the burger. We sent it back to the kitchen. The 2nd burger came back even more burned. The manager did not come to the table to discuss any issues, though I watched our server take him aside and show him the burger.
There were 2 servers working for approximately 20 tables, indoors and outdoors, and the poor servers were also working double duty at the bar mixing drinks.
The quality of the food was low, and not commensurate with the price or the restaurants excellent reviews. My guess is the restaurant used to be good, let all the staff go during covid, and then is trying to get back on track. Ultimately the problem with the restaurant is very poor management, because the issues with food and staffing are ultimately their responsibility.
I would not go back, and I would not recommend this to a friend.
Great service in friendly atmosphere
The food was amazing and the service was even better. Will definitely be back, frequently!
Great meal, service and ambience. Perfect neighborhood spot.
The food was the best I’ve ever had. I had the beet salad and the tagliatelle. I finished both and licked the bowls clean. To finish I had profiterole, which were perfect. Thanks for a lovely evening.
Dined outside on a cold night but there are heaters. Service remained perfect This is the only reason that ambiance was rated lower than 5. We both had mussels, prepared differently. They are always wonderful as are the fries.
Outstanding food and service. We just discovered this restaurant and have eaten there twice the past week - once for lunch and once for dinner. We live about 30 minutes away but it is now one of our favorite restaurants.
Just lovely from start to finish!
Food and service was great. Would definitely recommend.
Such pleasant dinners at EtVoila! We ate and the atmosphere was warm and friendly.
Excellent all around. Food, service, ambiance all on point. Highly recommend.
Food is always consistently excellent. I've never had a meal there that wasn't outstanding.
We sat outside on a lovely evening. It was all outstanding. The food and service were excellent. We had mussels and branzino. We will be back.
