I had booked this as i was in the area and late to book for Father's Day lunch. Touted as a neighbourhood gem, it did give the feel of authentic Italian and had some differrnt dishes. I had the garlic prawns with rice and it was a good portion and tasty. Food is wholesome. That said, I have a neighbourhood gem , again Italian, where i live and it is better value for money.

I am really disappointed with Fabrizio, I did a booking in the OpenTable app to dinner with my family in the Christmas Eve and when I arrived at the restaurant simply they ignore my booking and they told me that the kitchen was closed and they can’t do nothing about my booking. It is completely neglect with the customers. I don’t want go there anymore. Me and my family are really upset with this attention. Fabrizio ignore booking did with Open Table! It’s ashame!

Absolutely delicious; & that refers not only to the outstanding food and high quality ingredients, but also to the vibe, service, atmosphere and wine recommendation. The perfect place to treat my mother in law, excellence personified. I am still dreaming of the marvellous Bolognese and funghi ragu and perfect pasta; unctious joy all round. We finally 'discovered' Fabrizio after living in the area for over 20 years. The quality of the food was excellent! We booked on a Sunday evening...VERY busy with a boistrous atmosphere of a local eatery...good natured ambience...but LOUD. Also, service was under a bit of strain. That said, we were impressed by the quality and portions of the food. I can't wait to return to try more dishes. And as a kid from Brooklyn, I have to say that the pizza deserves high marks indeed!

Very upset I ordered special gluten free pizza owner said he would make it for us. When we get there no gluten free pizza owner said it got contaminated. Very disappointing !😩 Previously we had a lovely meal but this time disastrous will not go back again

Fabrizio is a delight and a really special find. The service could not be faulted, staff were friendly, unobtrusive but there as soon as you needed someone. The food was exceptional, the carbonara one of the best I've eaten. A really friendly, bustling atmosphere as well, this place is clearly popular with locals too.

We arrived on time and went into the restaurant which was crowded. Our table was still occupied but expected to be available in a few minutes. We were asked to wait in the street because the restaurant was so busy. Ten minutes later we went back to see what the delay was. The table had been served more food and coffee. After another ten minutes, we went back in to find that they were being served more coffee. Finally, after 40 minutes in the street we gained our table. If there was a star rating for "Were you treated as a valued customer?" I would give it one star. Our waiter explained that the table was occupied by regular customers and the manager couldn’t hurry them although they had apparently been told that their booking had a fixed end time. After this absolutely disappointing start to the evening, the food was of a good standard, the portions generous, the wine was nice and the staff convivial.

A bit disappointed in this venue. Ordered three dishes and only one was notable. The calamari starter was very bland and tasteless. The Lamb ragu main likewise with very little in the way of 'tasty'. The Olive spaghetti was the only worthwhile meal and although it wasn't amazing I would be happy to eat it again. The pasta itself was quite good, but they need to work on their sauces.

The food was good overall, although the specials menu with langoustines where all shell and no meat to them. The price was cheap and the service was okay, but as we looked at other tables they seemed to get much better service than we did.

Thoroughly enjoyable early Saturday evening meal at a lovely, authentic Italian restaurant. Great food, excellent friendly service and good value too. We'll be back. Word of advice, if you're planning to go Saturday, book in advance as it is very popular - with good reason.

This warm, friendly place has a real buzz. We were recommended to have one of the specials: pecorino cheese and honey starter followed by the ravioli special main - only 1 of us did and what a result it was as both were divine. Each of our party of six were all very happy with our dishes and we will certainly be back for more.

Fabrizios is a vibrant family run Italian restaurant with fabulous authentic food and friendly service - and it's all good value. Their pizzas are great and you can combine a number of varieties for sharing amongst your group. Mind you, vibrant can also mean "loud"!
