Amazing food, couldn't rate it more highly. Delicious! Buzzy atmosphere on all levels. Tables were a bit close together in the tapas bar, this and the noise can make it difficult to chat. But great night had by all, would definitely go again.

Very tasty food and friendly staff. Table needed after a certain amount of time, but they were very kind about asking for it and we could go upstairs with our drinks.

Food presentation good but taste was bland.
Ordered pasta, cauliflower and beef salad.
Of the three dishes the beef was the best.

Good atmosphere and tasty food but very small portions. Requested seated on booking and were disappointed to be seated at high tables with no back support.....benches are not comfortable. Service poor with wrong orders delivered three times, although staff were very apologetic and we did get extra fries free! Restaurant got colder by desert, reservation was for 8pm, and we had to wrap our scarves around us.

A really good experience for a work dinner, met by friendly staff on reception, dining staff really attentive but not too attentive so they got the balance really right. helpfulness with the menu and provided good recommendations. I would have like to be provided with some recommendations on wine for one of our guests, but that's the only moan, which is not really a moan. The food, however, was tops, every dish we ordered was delicious. Overall a really enjoyable experience

When one enters the restaurant and is met by a
Young lady with an attitude problem who would be best suited to a different job as she was so unhappy and slightly arrogant. It does not give one a great feeling. Food was average nothing like it used to be.

Excellent food with delicious cocktails. Service was very slow but when servers did come to the table they were excellent, very attentive and obliging. It was a busy Saturday night so we understand they were working to max capacity.

Fantastic ambiance. We will definitely come back!

Cold food sent back, still cold when we got second round. Table next to us wasn’t cleared for 35mins after the people left. Tried to say they wouldn’t give me change from a €100 voucher when the bill was only €65. (Don’t think that’s legal btw!) poor auld Dylan has lost the plot.

A great meal as always! This is one of my favorite restaurants in Dublin, I’ve eaten here several times. The Gastro bar is wonderful because you get to have small plates and many choices to share. Sampling everything! I especially liked the softshell crab and the salmon toast with truffle oil.

I found it over priced and the food not that nice. They are trying to be fancy with the tapas but the taste and flavour just isn’t there. The restaurant itself is lovely decorated and the staff are nice and friendly.

it is the third time we go and as usual, everything was really good. The only 2 recommendations: 1 i understand it is a question of preferences, the Popcorn with truffle... are a bit expensive for the portion although there is one of the cheaper dishes in the menu. Don't trust on this dish if you are hungry ;) And 2 the wine it's pretty expensive but nothing new in Ireland, better go for a beer (again from a Spanish where good wine uses to be at more reasonable prices). For the rest a really nice place, good food, and good ambient. I would recommend it to anyone!

Would appreciate a more specified information about the size of each course.
Difficult to know how many to take......
Also - a bit too noisy - but I am an elderly lady, so ....

Another fantastic evening in Fade Street Social. Introduced the concept to some friends for the first time and they loved it. Amazing food (with some superb recommendations by our waitress) was matched by outstanding service and it made our weekend. Thank you!

It was recommended by our hotel staff.
We were well accommodated despite a last minute reservation.
Staff was friendly. Service was excellent.
Had several tapas to share.
Compared to Gastro pubs in Chicago, it was reasonably price with nice variety. Must try the duck spring rolls, the crispy airbags, and the truffle pasta. The cauliflower dish was average.
Will advise against the chickpeas chips: I suggest filling them with true flavored hummus instead.
Nice gem in a quieter part of the city center.

While the food was lovely, they forgot some of our order and were late bringing it out which was a bit disappointing. We had a table reserved in the rooftop bar for 9.30 and when we got to it, we waited 40 mins for someone to take our order or give us a cocktail menu. For such a lovely spot the service was poor and given how expensive it is, it just was a bit of a let down.

Food, drink, service was great.
Atmosphere was busy but fine for us. Very busy place which shows it’s popularity, even on a Tuesday night.
Can drink before or after, can have tapas or a full a la carte meal.
Not the cheapest but worth it if you want to push the boat out. You get what you pay for.

Great restaurant in a very good area of Dublin. Had read lots of positive reviews and the restaurant was full throughout the evening - wouldn't say all of the dishes lived up to expectations but some great flavours and ideas from the chefs. Main gripe would be that food comes too quickly and feels like they are rushing you out of the doors. It's a sit down, fairly expensive restaurant, not a fast food chain and with that diners should feel relaxed rather than rushed.

Overall would recommend.

Delicious unique “small plates” great shared by table. Lively atmosphere & a very enjoyable and tasty dinner. Creative & appealing tapas. Menu has something for everyone- many choices - even accommodating for a person with celiac. Make a reservation and you won’t be disappointed!

All the items we ordered came within 5 minutes before we had even gotten our drinks. It was not well timed and not the best service/food quality for the prices.

We've been to Fade Street a good number of times over the years and have typically always enjoyed it. The tapas style menu is very good (although sad to see some personal favourites disappear over time but appreciate that menus do evolve). I wouldn't typically write a review as it is so subjective for the most part but on this occasion I do feel the need to highlight the outrageous cost of a 'Mocktail' my wife ordered. As she was not drinking alcohol, she asked if there was anything available as the drinks menu didn't list any. Not a problem, the attentive waiter advised and it arrived in a nice glass with plenty of ice. She enjoyed it alright but then when the bill arrived - €12.50. I think by any measure that is crazy for a non-alcoholic drink. Food good, staff very good, overall value (it's starting to slip).

Overall we’d a very pleasant evening. The food was surprisingly good in that I’d really wondered how some of the dishes would work as tapas but they did particularly the fish dishes. Service was a bit mixed in the restaurant but fine. I found service in the bar upstairs woeful. We ordered two cocktails which staff forgot about. That can happen but we were being told by security staff to drink up 10-15 minutes after cocktails arrived. I wouldn’t have paid €25 for two cocktails if I’d known we were expected to neck them in 10 minutes. The attitude of security staff upstairs was a bit over the top for me and would mean I’d think twice about going back to either restaurant or bar.

Fade Street is one of my favourite restaurants in Dublin and I am a regular customer. Unfortunately in two occasions I notice a decrease in the food standards, to be more specific flavour and presentation. For example on my last visit the popcorn with chicken - had almost no chicken, the roasted cauliflower was overcooked and no flavour, the burger was not great and the donuts were hard and super coated in sugar. It was a very disappointing visit. The service is amazing and extremely friendly. I hope they improve.
