Farmshop Bicester Village
The farmshop is a 200-cover restaurant in Bicester Village, Oxfordshire, open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. The menu focuses on rustic British food, from old-fashioned classics to hearty farmhouse fare.
Paying respect to the Oxfordshire countryside, the décor has cobblestone floors, barn doors and exposed beams. There's outdoor terrace seating and two private dining spaces.
Local to Bicester Village and have used The Farmshop on many occasions .
This time .... poor device with uninterested staff
The food was delicious, my wife and I had the full English breakfast it was so tasty . 💯 I would recommend to family and friends . Will be returning on our next visit .
Friendly quick service and great atmosphere. Food was excellent and well priced and the portions were not stingy at all! Loads of interesting veggie options too
Very tasty food, big portions and friendly service. Thank you.
Staff are really friendly. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Food is super tasty - the best place it eat at Bicester Village!
Absolutely amazing experience, delicious food, lovely staff and a clean restaurant. Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone!
Always a hit with myself and my Mom. We love it there the food is great the staff are pleasant and we always leave smiling.
Great restaurant with a welcoming and relaxing feel. The food and service were great 👍
Excellent Service and Food
Nice place to relax
Outdoor and indoor seating
As a family of four, we booked for 5.30pm and visited the Farmshop to eat following a shopping trip to Bicester.
For starters we shared the garlic bread with cheese and mozzarella balls. We all enjoyed these but I particularly liked the sour dough based garlic bread.
Our mains were the chicken salad, tiger prawn tagliatelle, fish & chips and the Farmhouse burger.
All the meals were good portions and really well presented.
Service was great with all the staff friendly and helpful.
Add on the 2 cocktails, a prosecco and coke and the bill was just over £100 which I thought was perfectly reasonable.
Overall we had a nice experience following some stressful shopping..
Oh, I forgot to mention that half way home to London we got a call from the restaurant to say we had forgotten one of our shopping bags.. we were horrified but very very grateful that they were happy to post the bag bag to us at no charge! Received it today.. Thank you!!!
My second visit. Overall an average experience. Wouldn’t rush back. Meat was over cooked and no peppercorn sauce available. Was replaced with new plate.
Breakfast was excellent - well served - hot coffee and delicious bacon sandwich.
Extremely expensive and the food was just OK.
£18 for half a roast chicken without any sides.... ridiculous.... since when has a simple roast chicken cost £36 in a restaurant / Cafe?
Probably due to the nature of the wooden tables, however ours was extremely sticky and therefore gives the impression they are not being cleaned properly.
The girls serving were very pleasant and accommodating, however the couple of guys there were more like bouncers than pleasant waiters.
Overall a VERY disappointing and expensive experience which I will not be repeating.
Delicious! Great service!
Our waitress was extremely attentive and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. She got a cushion for our daughter when asked, was attentive and clearly knew when we required extra drinks etc. I cannot praise her enough. She was really on the ball when our daughter was sick after eating too much ‘Mac & cheese’. She did not complain or fuss, she was straight on to clearing up the mess and organised those around her extremely effectively.
The food was delicious, portions were extremely generous and pricing very competitive.
Couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough.
My starter was a unexpectedly big portion and good value. Main course was excellent.
Excellent food and service, a very pleasant place to eat breakfast. We will definitely go back again.
Food was excellent and so was our waiter. I could not give ambience or noise a true grading as we sat outside with our dog. Shame the outdoor seating is at the back but would still go again.
It was hard to get the attention of staff but once we did, they were very helpful and friendly. The portions were large and the food was lovely. The overall ambiance was rustic and homemade. The discount for being a local is great. Thank you.
Although the service was great, it was extremely cold and the food and hot drinks were therefore also cold.
Amazing high quality tasty food and perfect services.
Great service and good would definitely recommend a visit
The staff were great, very friendly and knowledgable. The food was delicious, and great value for money. We had the full breakfast to set us up for the day, and it was exactly what we needed. Every ingredient was perfectly cooked (the poached eggs were just wow), the amount was exactly right without being too much. All in all, a great breakfast experience and highly recommended as a way to start the day.
If I had to find fault, and really it’s a minor minor thing, then the only thing I could think of is that maybe the butter for the toast needed to be warmed slightly to make it easier to spread. But it didn’t detract from what was a wonderful breakfast that we both really enjoyed.
Great for pre cinema supper. No complaints on food, service or restaurant area but the toilets were a mess and it was only 7:30pm.....
We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a meal at the Farmshop on Saturday evening. We couldn’t fault anything, the food, the service and ambience was really lovely. We are looking forward to going back.
One of the best meals I have had in a long time !
Nice ambiance, decent menu, polite staff. Food was well presented but poached eggs were cold which was disappointing. Otherwise thoroughly enjoyed.
Great place to meet up, have a meeting and lovely food but very cold space.
An excellent and healthy pre cinema supper . Good choices, polite and efficient service and very pleasant ambience. No complaints!
Good food and great service. Felt very looked after
The Farmshop is an excellent place to eat. Tasty food and friendly staff.
The atmosphere was great, relaxed and very good and efficient service. Friendly staff and delicious food and drink.
Only 1 minor irritant- the table was sticky but all over, so unlikely to be from a spill, maybe the wood finish, but not too nice!
Had a lovely late breakfast at the Farmshop - everything cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was great and lively and was most certainly worth the early drive for. I would certainly recommend as part of a Bicester visit!
The restaurant was freezing and we had to send our our breakfast back it was cold. Heaters need to be intoduced throughout the restaurant particularly as it is really cold.
Great service and food and very welcoming, booked a group booking and was felt with very professionally
Interesting and. Aired menu. Food cooked to perfection. Friendly, attentive front of home use staff. Great atmosphere. This is a really great place to eat good food at le prices in a friendly, upbeat atmosphere.
Fantastic experience yet again. Definitely worth a Brunch visit. Food fantastic and ambience. Good value for money.
We were very surprised to see that a service charge of 12.5 percent was added to our bill. Nothing had suggested this would happen. The restaurant could have been doing with better heating due to being very cold, which meant our food went cold quickly. For the price you didn’t get much for a breakfast for two with service charge costing 30.00 pound. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
Great outpost of Soho Farmhouse has a luxury barn vibe. We had a great English breakfast which was amazing value : £13 inc. coffee and juice. Nice service as well.
