Best Brunch Restaurants in Newton-in-Cartmel

This was a belated Anniversary meal as we have had a lot going on with Father in Law having a cancer related operation. The staff are all lovely but our main waiter was so intentive and made us both feel very special. His advice was perfect on quantity of meat and sides. Was always there topping up the wine and water. It was just what we both needed. A big thank you again.

Great meal and wonderful food. The tarnish being taken off by 5 loud mouthed men and women who although sitting on a table together had to speak loudly to each other so that everyone could hear. Thoughtless inconsiderate buffoons. The staff and service were excellent.

Our first time at Cibo, wanted somewhere special to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary. From the doorman entering to us getting our bill the service was amazing. There’s a great atmosphere, everyone is so attentive to make you feel special. And the food, well the best chateaubriand we’ve had. So pleased we chose Cibo. Would highly recommend

We had a number of small plates, as follows; gnocchi, sirloin steak, potatoes, focaccia & arancini. The main stand out was the arancini, incredibly well done and delicious! Restaurant itself is modern, very clean and smart decor and the ambiance is lovely. Staff were so friendly and the right level of attentive. Great experience. Would highly recommend.
