Positioned in the North Broad area of Philadelphia, our Michelin Guide recommended space, offers a fresh perspective on food systems - expanding the idea of Afrocentricity in food by redefining the limits of a restaurant and celebrating the legacies and recipes of those that came before them.Offered in our main dining room, our multi-course tasting menu experience places an emphasis on supporting local Black farmers & Indigenous ingredients while highlighting the food ways & cultures that we are designed by. The food was amazing! We had the pate, labneh and pizza. All three were perfect. The strawberry dessert was phenomenal too. The service was great. The wine was delicious. One of the best meals, I’ve had all year. We will definitely be back.

After hearing so many great things about Pine Street Grill, I was excited to give it a try—and it exceeded my expectations. We started with the pimento cheese crab dip served with Ritz crackers, which was a unique and delicious combination. Rich, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. The burgers are clearly a house specialty, and for good reason. They were cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and easily rank among the best burgers I've had in Philadelphia. If you're a burger lover, this place should definitely be on your list. The restaurant itself is small, energetic, and full of character. It can get a bit lively, but that's part of the appeal. The atmosphere feels welcoming and unpretentious, making it a great spot to gather with friends or family for a casual meal. Excellent food, friendly service, and generous portions. Pine Street Grill more than lived up to its reputation, and I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

I've had Honeysuckle on my radar to eat at for about a year now, and I am so glad that I finally got to experience it, as it was well worth the wait. I was dining by myself that evening, as I was meeting a friend later on for a concert a few blocks down Broad St at The Met, but instead of dining alone, I was actually accompanied by a team of servers at Honeysuckle that were all lovely impromptu dinner companions, as they rotated thru the room offering different plates and wine & cocktail pairings, sharing polite general conversation on top of their culinary knowledge and background stories of the food, it's suppliers, and African-American heritage & history behind each dish, to the point where I felt like I was dining with 6 friends all evening, led by my lead server, Thalia, who was a total gem! I opted for their meat side tasting menu (they also offer a vegan menu option) for the evening, which says its only 7 courses, but in actuality is 10, all of which were absolutely delicious, and at the same time a wonderful homage to Chefs Omar's & Cybille's heritage and culinary flare. They took some American classics and turned them on their heads in the most spectacular ways, where every single bite I took, just made my taste buds sing. The Wine pairing was also a perfect accompaniment to the amazing meal. 3 lovely and unique glasses of wine were served along with a lovely in-house fermented beverage, and a soothing dessert cocktail. I added both an initial Rhubarb flavored cocktail, the Dola Dira Spritz to cool me down on a hot day as I got there, and ended the meal with more intense but still extremely smooth whiskey and blackberry based, The Harder They Fall, which was a delightful spin on an Old Fashioned with a subtle blackberry fruit note to it. All-in-all, this was a wonderful evening overall. I would recommend this spot to anyone that loves high-end foodie type cuisine, and I will most definitely be back again, and soon!
