Best Comfort Food Restaurants in New Canaan

we had a fantastic evening! Our group of 10 was extremely satisfied. Great food great service.

This neighborhood Jen is always a pleasure, from Manager Pav’ and how he makes everyone feel at home, to assuring the best service and dishes! Inside or outside, always a pleasure!

Beautiful atmosphere representing Albanian culture. Walking in feels like walking into an entirely new location, with beautiful lighting outside and magnificent breath taking decor on the inside. In the background you’ll hear music playing throughout your stay to immerse you even further into the authenticity of the restaurant. Don’t let the fancy layout scare you off though, the pricing of every item on the menu was beyond reasonable compared to other restaurants of this quality. For a group of 5, our total came out to around $150 (before tip) with everyone ordering 2 items and 3 of us splitting the Grilled Meat Platter. Everyone can agree you will possibly double on your order of the Samuna bread, it’s freshly made, always coming out hot, and has a delicious fluffy and airy interior, highly recommend pairing it with the Tarator dip for a nice refreshing zesty tang!! Although the wait time for all of our food was rather long (felt like 30-45 minutes after we had ordered), the quick attentive service of all the servers really helped time pass! Please note however though at times there may be a language/knowledge barrier as whenever we asked a question about the restaurant or an item on the menu, all servers redirected us over to who was presumably the manager. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are eager to try out something new without breaking bank! Perfect for a date night or a gathering with friends, I will definitely be coming back here!
