We are located on the beautiful Argyle Street just over Pulteney Bridge and our smaller dining room, which can also be booked for private dining, overlooks Pulteney Weir. We have a carefully chosen wine list and an interesting selection of drinks. Bookings of 5-6 will be seated either in our Main Restaurant or Private Dining Room.     My wife and I were looking for somewhere to take her brother to celebrate his birthday and after searching for places to go for Sunday lunch in Bristol we found The Cross House in Doynton. How glad we are that it was one of the pubs suggested! Set in a lovely part of the countryside not far from Bristol or Bath we sat and enjoyed what was one of the best Sunday lunches we’ve had in a long time. The roast beef was cooked perfectly and so good that we’ve booked for Sunday lunch on Mother’s Day! A true gem set in a beautiful part of the countryside!

    I booked my birthday dinner while in town and chose COLOSSEO, and I’m so glad I did! The restaurant was beautiful and the servers were kind and attentive. The waiters graciously sang happy birthday to the other three people in the restaurant celebrating birthdays along with me, which was very kind. The food was delicious and the drinks were very good. If I’m ever back in Bath I would visit again!
