Great food, al fresco dining in a lovely garden The slow roast lamb shoulder was massive, I shared it with my son and despite his very healthy appetite we still finished up taking a doggy bag home to our very grateful dog. Service attentive but not intrusive, special thanks to Andrea for squeezing us in as the place was very busy.

The food and service were excellent. The negatives are around the fact that the pub no longer offers any simple family value food. The numbers of people in the pub, over my last three visits, enjoying the great venue and service, has gone down.

As kitchen was out of action at home, I treated myself to lunch and had a great time- fantastic food, a complimentary pint of local ale and efficient service, their fresh fish dishes are wonderful as is their membership scheme. A choice of Torbay Turbot, monkfish, whole plaice, sea bass fillet or traditional fish n chips. 1st class
