Located just outside Chichester, at the heart of the Goodwood Estate, Farmer, Butcher, Chef celebrates the beef, pork, and lamb reared at Goodwood Home Farm. Aptly named, the farmer, butcher, and chef collaborate to discuss the available cuts of meat, which are featured in our hearty Butcher’s Boards and a constantly changing seasonal menu.Awarded two AA Rosette's, it has a relaxed atmosphere with quintessentially British interiors by Leveson Design. With a bar and beautiful courtyard where you can enjoy live music and BBQs throughout the summer months, alongside a full calendar of events, the restaurant is a space to enjoy exceptional food with friends, family and dogs are very welcome too.Goodwood has been farmed by the Dukes of Richmond for over 300 years. Susan, Duchess of Richmond was one of the Soil Association’s earliest members. Her belief in organic food and animal welfare were instrumental in Goodwood Home Farm becoming the first 100% organically fed dairy in the country.

The George Inn is located in the hamlet of Finchdean in Hampshire, a charming countryside location popular with locals, walkers and cyclists. It is a traditional real ale pub that dates back to the 18th Century, now offering a carefully curated menu including pub favourites, a well-stocked bar and inviting decor. Our friendly team offer a warm and welcoming environment and on visiting you are likely to find a steady stream of local clientele and a dog or two stretched out in front of the open fire.

Located in the heart of the Goodwood Estate and surrounded by the South Downs National Park, The Star & Garter in East Dean offers a delicious selection of freshly cooked, local and seasonal food in a charming dining space with red brick and oak beams. Just a mile down the hill from Goodwood Race Course we are 12 minutes drive from Chichester. Once again we had a wonderful meal at the Bird in Hand. We took our friend for a 40th Birthday lunch. The food was first class and the service was top level. Happy Birthday message was added to our friend’s desert plate as a little extra touch. Thanks to Megan and Izzy for their attention to detail. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a really nice meal

A great Sunday lunchtime experience. All the bar and waiting staff were friendly, helpful and polite. We had the roast beef and roast lamb which were perfectly cooked, melt in the mouth. Accompanying veggies all tasty and a generous portion too. Look forward to coming back again.
