A Flawless Experience for a Group of Seven ​We recently dined at Del Frisco’s with a party of seven, taking advantage of the Orlando Magical Dining menu. Managing service and consistency for a larger group can test any kitchen, but Del Frisco’s executed the evening from start to finish without a single misstep. ​The Entrées: Six of us ordered the filet, and one opted for the salmon. Every single steak was cooked precisely to order with a proper sear and tender interior, while the salmon was flakey, moist, and seasoned just right. ​The Sides: Sharing family-style orders of mashed potatoes and french fries hit the spot—comfort classics done with upscale execution, generous portions, and piping-hot delivery to the table. ​The Bar: Standout craft cocktails can make or break a dinner service. The Old Fashioned easily ranks among the best I’ve had (rich, balanced, and properly iced), and the mojito and martinis ordered by our group were equally crisp and well-balanced. ​The Service: Our bartender/server was attentive, engaging, and spot-on with pacing and recommendations, ensuring our group of seven felt well taken care of rather than shuffled along.

Everything from the complementary bread to the 22oz bone in rib eye was fantastic! Service was wonderful and the ambiance was beautiful. There was some live music since we went on a Friday night. I loved that they offered a gluten free menu.

Maggiano’s Little Italy delivers the kind of dining experience that feels distinct from the usual contemporary restaurant setting. The interior has an old-school Italian character, with leather seating and photographs evocative of the Sinatra era, which creates a relaxed atmosphere for enjoying the meal. A standout was the Linguine Alle Vongole. The clams paired with the white garlic-herb sauce create a flavorful combination that makes this dish particularly memorable. The complimentary pull-apart rolls are another highlight. Soft and slightly sweet, they have the familiar character/taste of Hawaiian rolls and are especially enjoyable alongside the meal. The table service complements the atmosphere well—efficient, attentive, and unobtrusive. Nothing feels rushed, thereby allowing you to enjoy the food and surroundings at a leisurely pace. The convenient parking is an added bonus. The Pointe Orlando Parking Garage provides convenient access to the restaurant. One thing to note is that after parking, scan one of the QR codes posted throughout the garage and provide the requested information, such as your phone number and vehicle license plate. At the end of the meal, the license plate or phone number will be used to complete the automatic parking validation. Overall, with its nostalgic atmosphere, standout dishes (e.g., Linguine Alle Vongole), enjoyable complimentary bread service, and efficient table service, Maggiano’s offers a dining experience that is both satisfying and pleasantly relaxed.
