Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Chinatown, New York City

This is exactly the kind of restaurant I think of when I want a high end dining experience. The food was amazing, yes, but what impressed me the most was the service. Every single staff member truly cared about making the experience as enjoyable as possible. The level of professionalism was astounding, and I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if this establishment were to receive recognition from Michelin any time now. The courses came out well paced, with time for us to enjoy and savor, the dishes were explained to us, and we were even given multiple delicious and complimentary amuse-bouches throughout the meal. They were flexible and very courteous with our booking times. We had the prix fixe menu and were given expert advice on wine pairings. Scalini Fedeli was absolutely the right choice for making our anniversary a very special night.

I’ve been a regular at Beefbar NYC for the past year and a half, and the experience consistently delivers. The food is fantastic, the cocktails are on point, and the service is genuinely warm and attentive, exactly what you want from a top-tier restaurant. My one ongoing frustration is the dress code enforcement. The reminders feel excessive, and on one occasion a guest of mine was actually given a hard time over her choice of footwear. In this day and age, that kind of rigidity can put a real damper on an otherwise stellar evening. That said, Beefbar gets so much right, from the quality of the food to the friendly, lively atmosphere and for now remains one of my go-to spots. Just come dressed for the occasion to avoid the hassle and you’ll have a great time.

Fabulous place to celebrate my birthday dinner! They took superb care of us. Requested a booth and was given a booth. Food is second to none with matching service in a gorgeous setting. Was our first time but we will certainly return when back in NYC. Thank you for a lovely evening!
