Took friends for breakfast. They loved it as did we. Great food and service

My friend and I went for a light lunch as a break from work. We both had ‘small plates’ which were a perfect size for us and also perfect presented. It was my friend’s first time here and she wanted to check the place out. She loved it and will be booking again at a later date!!

Very tasty food. The triple cooked chips are the best ever! I had grilled halibut which was delicious. Very ample portions. Very friendly efficient staff.

The food was amazing; we all had different dishes (mains and desserts) and were very impressed with the taste, quality of ingredients and the presentation. We got complimentary bread and butter at the start, which was a nice touch. The venue has character and is a charming old building. Our server was brilliant, especially considering her very young age - she was friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the menu. The village of Buckland is beautiful - we went for a walk after lunch. I would highly recommend making a visit here.
