“In Syrian culture, we can’t make any journey without first planning the food. If you decide to go to the cinema, you plan what you’ll eat. If you plan to visit your mother, you know that you’re going to eat. There’s no going out without eating something.”-Imad AlarnabImad Alarnab was a successful restaurateur in Damascus with three restaurants, plus several juice bars and cafes. In the war, Imad's restaurants were destroyed and he was forced to flee the country in search of safety for his family. Making his way from Lebanon through Europe, Imad shared his skills cooking for other refugees, up to 400 at a time, and found even in the most challenging times, his passion for food and bringing people together to celebrate life was strong.

Always a good experience! I had a sore throat and the manager was really kind and kept refilling my fresh mint tea pot. I also asked for ginger and it was accommodated.

Have visited & dined here many times over past few years. Setting a standard with regard to customer experience, professional service and great food is one thing, however maintaining that standard is something else. This Bistro achieves this time & time again, well done to all. Set menu offers a great selection of starters, main & dessert plus a glass of Prosecco. Great value, great food, great service. Thank you.

One of the best food I’ve had in London. The aubergine for the mains was top notch! I’ve had some really amazing roasted aubergines but this has beaten anything I’ve tried so far. Loved the lamb and rice as well, a very delicate and flavour dish made by the chef. I would recommend this to all my friends.
