Jack Timmons grew up in Texas and has lived in Seattle for over three decades. In 2012, he attended BBQ Summer Camp at the Meat Sciences department of Texas A&M, then toured many historic barbecue temples of Central Texas. Returning to Seattle, he bought an offset smoker, imported some post oak, mesquite and hickory, and started the Seattle Brisket Experience.After more than a year of practicing the art of barbecue, and serving old-school, succulent smoked meats to thousands of Northwest BBQ fans at ‘BBQ Raves’, Jack opened his first restaurant in the South of Downtown (SoDo) area of Seattle – Jack’s BBQ in 2014.At our newest location on the border of Bellevue and Redmond, we serve authentic Central Texas Barbecue with Brisket, Ribs, Sausage and Chicken.     The ribeye and pork chop special were excellent. We brought two older ladies celebrating their birthdays, one 101 yrs, one 89. Service was slow, especially after main dish arrived. Our server never brought our requested coffees and finally hunted her down so we could pay and leave

    This restaurant was new to us, we have a gift certificate for it. Oh my gosh they didn’t disappoint! Some of the best food I’ve ever had! I ordered the filet mignon, it was fabulous! Also best Negroni I’ve ever had too! Will definitely be returning!

    We had a great dinner experience at Romio’s in Kirkland. We were here for soccer and our daughter needed pasta and protein. She had the penne Alfredo with shrimp. It was nice to be able to change the pasta. The Alfredo sauce was very light but full of flavor. The shrimp was good but wish they would remove the tails prior to serving. My wife had the low carb meatballs dish. The meatballs and marinara was so good. I had a caprese salad and the fresh mozzarella and tomatoes were so good. My wife and I also had the red wine that was really good. Overall great experience with great service. Would highly recommend.
