Parking was rough, but fortunately we got the valet. In the future we'll most likely train in from the burbs. I was afraid it would be too loud to hear each other in our party of 6, but even though it was on the louder side, we were able to talk without yelling. Four of us have been to Ireland recently and though the beer wasn't totally that Ireland taste, we all really enjoyed it. Most of us had the beef stew as recommended by our server and it was delicious! The curds and wings for starters were also tasty. The Guinness sauce on the wings was delicious on its own! Then for dessert we had the creme brulee and the churros with ice cream - again recommended by our server. Don't usually love churros, but this was a great combo with the ice cream. Overall super fun night for a little family reunion!More infoGuinness Open Gate Brewery - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• Brewery• West Loop•4.5

The harissa chicken on the platter was amazing and it should be available as a small plate but isn’t. The restaurant is a bit loud but has a great vibe. The food was overall excellent with friendly service that was great as well. The date cake desert is one of the best we have had and we have had that a lot. Highly recommend Sifr and we will be back the next time we visit the Windy City.More infoSifrPrice: Expensive• Middle Eastern• River North (Chicago)•4.7

The candlelight setting was the perfect ambiance even if a bit dark, but the absolute star of the dinner was the tremendous service provided by MASON! The best waiter in Chicago. (Maple & Ash this "Employee Benefits" charge coincidentally is exactly the same as the credit card fee!!!! Ask me before you add $25 to my check!!!!! When I drop almost a $1,000.00 for dinner without cocktails I don't expect a surprise on my bill!!!!! Disclosure and ASK. 30% Tip covers the wait staff, and at your prices there is money to provide the rest of the staff--including the kitchen--with "employee benefits.")More infoMaple & AshPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.7
