Best Lunch Restaurants in East Berlin

Wonderful dining experience; the food was outstanding and the staff friendly and accommodating.

My wife and I had dinner at 1933 Restaurant & Tavern yesterday, and we truly enjoyed every part of the experience. The food was excellent—each dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. We also loved the atmosphere. It was warm, inviting, and had such a charming character that made our evening feel extra special. From the food to the ambiance, everything came together beautifully. We had a wonderful dinner and a memorable evening. We’ll definitely be coming back and look forward to trying more of what 1933 has to offer. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Table 1837 at the Glen Rock Mill Inn! It is located equidistant between Hershey and Baltimore for us, so a great halfway spot to meet for a meal. We dined in the Tavern room and ordered two meals from the Sunday Brunch menu and one burger from the sandwich list. All three dishes were excellent! Our Bloody Mary’s (request to add horseradish was graciously honored) were delicious. Service by Kim was excellent and the entire staff was very welcoming. We were even given a tour of this history laden building after we finished our meal and also got to watch the passenger train pass by when we were leaving. All in all, this hidden gem was a great experience and we look forward to returning to the Mill again soon! Thank you! Very well done!

We had an impromptu date night dinner. Staff were warm and didn’t hover. Drinks were excellent and food was great! Wild mushroom gnocchi and rib eye were all excellent! Great play on crab dip - as a Marylander I would never think to add crispy bacon and it was delicious!

I can’t speak highly enough about our experience at Davidson’s Restaurant. We had made reservations for six, but were unsure if others would be joining us for gathering after an art exhibit. They quickly set up a private room in case a larger group materialized. We ended up having 20 people, and the restaurant staff could not have been more accommodating. Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Thanks to all who made the event so enjoyable.
