- DDavidLondon •1 review5.0Dined on 25 Jun 2025We had a really nice lunch at the Punchbowl, it is pleasing to see it open as on previous visits to this part of Essex it has been closed. Food was excellent, very good beer from Wibblers Brewery and service was attentive and timely. i'm sure we'll be back. i dont usually do reviews but the Punchbowl deserved a good one!More infoThe Punch BowlPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Southend-On-Sea•4.9
- AAngelaEssex •1 review5.0Dined on 7 May 2025Booked a table for 6 mid-week, family visiting from Canada. Table ready when we arrived, staff very pleasant and helpful. Food was lovely, fantastic chips! Didn’t have to wait too long, although it was relatively quiet in the restaurant. Sea bass, scampi and haddock meals excellent. Only downside was the catch of the day was lobster costing £40, which I thought was rather expensive and the only choice. Would definitely recommendMore infoFish On The QuayPrice: Moderate• British• Maldon•3.7
