- WWendyVIPHertfordshire •13 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI took a friend with me who had never eaten at Lussmanns. To say she was delighted would be the understatement of the year! She chose the Smoked Haddock & free range poached egg and said it was quite the best she had ever tasted. She was equally pleased with her dessert, which was which was the Bramley apple crumble with Barnet ice cream, hazelnuts, and rosemary. I chose the chickpea and spice tomato hotpot and the sticky date and ginger pudding, whose sauce was exquisite. My friend is going to make sure her son takes her there as soon as possible.More infoLussmanns - HarpendenPrice: Moderate• Modern European• Harpenden•4.8
- TTkny44London •7 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis is a delightful pub, with good lighting, superb food and great, friendly service. We shared the monkfish Wellington special and it was sublime. It could have done with a tiny bit less salt, but otherwise it was perfection, the flavours of the vermouth, the nicely seasoned pomme purée and the jus went so well together and we felt the concept of a non-beef Wellington was exciting and bold. And it worked!! Paired it with a very nice Chenin blanc. Our antipodean waitress was quirky and charming and service was excellent. We shall definitely be back!More infoThe Three OaksPrice: Expensive• British• Gerrards Cross•4.8
- SSamanthaHertfordshire •18 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis is always a lovely stylish restaurant to visit. Lovely on Valentines night not to have a restricted menu or be told we want your table back in 90minutes which happens elsewhere. Starters of scallops and ham hock were delicious. Mains of steak and duck were very generous. I couldn’t finish the duck , perhaps would have liked another vegetable on the plate. Desserts again, Large! Nice to have the addition of a live singer too.More infoDining At Centurion ClubPrice: Expensive• British• St. Albans•4.7
- RRachaelLondon •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe went to The Bank for Valentine’s Day and had a lovely evening. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive and looked after us really beautifully. The cocktails were great - I can thoroughly recommend the Chai Espresso Martini. The food was really delicious and interesting and we had two delicious little complimentary courses - a mango shot and a fudge like chocolate treat. The restaurant itself is very stylishly designed. We will definitely be going again. Amazing to have somewhere so good on our doorstep!More infoThe BankPrice: Expensive• Indian• Rickmansworth•4.4
- MMyoungLondon •4 reviews5.0Dined on 29 Dec 2024We visited for the first time on my husband’s birthday. Both the tomahawk steak and lamb chops were delicious, and the complimentary Turkish tea and baklava with a candle made our day. We will definitely return to try other items on the menu.More infoBoga Steak GrillPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Watford•4.3
