- KKerryNorfolk/Suffolk •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe ambience in No.23 is wonderful, very popular with locals and out of towners alike, and it’s very clear why. Cocktails are fantastic and very well done, and the food is delicious. The staff are also extremely pleasant and friendly but also very professional making sure everyone is served promptly and sufficiently. We had a great evening and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect, we will undoubtably be visiting No.23 again and we highly recommend that if you are in the area to pay this little gem a visit.More infoNo.23 UppinghamPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Lyddington•4.7

The choice of wines extensive and the service highly proficient and friendly. Excellent value for money. Could not receive a better welcome.More infoThe WheatsheafPrice: Moderate• British• Oakham•4.9

- DDavidLeicestershire •5 reviews5.0Dined on 20 Jan 2025"Old" country pub tastefully modernised, very pleasant service. Restaurant is a nice room, tastefully modernised. Menu for lunch is fairly tight which is always a good sign. Calamari was fresh, the belly pork pieces in a "Chinese" style sauce was a good way of serving. Pheasant was excellent, as was the Venison suet pudding (though a little overheated making some crust a little hard). Sticky Date pudding was light, very flavourful and the butternut sauce and Ice cream great accompaniments. The Winter Ale was lovely pint. The January 50% off offer meant that as well as being very enjoyable it was exceptional value for money.More infoOld White HartPrice: Moderate• British• Rutland•4.6
