This was the first time we tried 1889 Restaurant. Our waiter was very friendly, prompt and informative of the menu. The food was delicious. Wine recommendation was delicious, however very expensive. We will definitely return for special occasions.

We were there to see Chris Ward perform. He was fantastic. Westwater kitchen & lounge is a really nice venue. The service was amazing. The happy hour menu was delish. Can’t wait to go back for dinner. Highly recommend.

The ambiance was great! The food was spectacular. It was the first time I had been here to celebrate the birthday of my best friend and she really enjoyed it. The staff was lovely and amicable. I will be coming back!

We were able to get a window seat as requested since it was not overly busy with diners on a Monday night. The ambience was good for an evening meal. The dimness of the room allowed one to see more of the marina and sky outside. The server was very attentive and we received our requested drinks within 10 minutes of sitting down. The orders for food were taken shortly thereafter. The chowder was excellent, as always and the main course of steak and stuffed halibut were great. The mashed potatoes and carrots were great as well. I am not a fan of broccoli or broccolini which was hard to cut and eat (but it can be avoided by asking). Palisade is not an inexpensive restaurant, but it is suited to give you a top notch place to go for special occasions or with special guests.
