Just went along to enjoy an afternoon tea session and, it was quiet but that was to be expected , but I went for the personal me time, wonderful views and good service that 20 Stories always supply.The staff always try their best to provide wonderful service and yesterday was no exception. We ate at the restaurant as a family group of 5 adults. A suitable table was arranged without fuss by the restaurant manager, who was friendly, efficient and attentive. The food was excellent and served by friendly staff. A very enjoyable experience.

Myself and my boyfriend had a wonderful meal here last night - and we couldn’t recommend it more. The staff were attentive and very welcoming, even when it was busy, they still made the effort to come over and pour our wine, having small conversations along the way! The food was absolutely amazing, to start our dinner off, we had the tomato and garlic bread. Then, the true showstopper, our main meal. I had the ragu ravioli and my boyfriend had the prawn tagliatelle and it was unlike anything we have ever had before. The portions were plenty and every ingredient was so well thought of. It’s safe to say that when we’re back in the area, we will definitely be heading back. A huge thank you to our waiter Davide, lovely guy!

Absolutely fantastic! Riverside in Lower Darwen is such a lovely place. The food is incredible — everything we had was beautifully cooked, full of flavour and genuinely some of the best food we’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal and spend an evening. The staff are brilliant too — friendly, attentive and they really make you feel looked after. Great food, lovely atmosphere and amazing service. We’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend Riverside to anyone!

Kitten was nothing short of an amazing evening out. The lighting and music were perfect, the food was amazing and served instantly and the waiters were attentive and polite. I particularly liked the prawn gyozas, nowhere else does them quite this right.
