The menu has a nice selection for lunch or brunch. Atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Staff is excellent and the food was delicious

I went to Kennedy's Steak House for the second time for my birthday. Just like the first time everything was fantastic, however, there was one little hiccup regarding the lobster tail. The chef, for reasons I cannot fathom, when prepping the lobster tail ONLY cut it in half. They did NOT use kitchen shears to cut out the bottom shell part of the tail, with all the little legs and such, and they did NOT SEPARATE THE MEAT FROM THE SHELL! The result of this lack of preparation meant that THE MEAT WAS TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY CEMENTED TO THE SHELL and was extremely hard, almost impossible, to remove. I had to actually grab the meat and tail, with my hands, and wrestle it out of the shell which created a huge mess and almost splattered me and my nice clothes. Now, if I was at Fisherman's Market, I would expect the tail meat to not be separated from the shell and to be eating with my hands. But at a restaurant like this, where you are wearing nice clothes, you don't have a bib, and eating with your hands is inappropriate, this situation was unnecessarily difficult and I felt extremely awkward eating with my hands in that kind of environment. They did remedy the situation by removing the lobster from the bill and the server was very kind and understanding of the situation but the chef needs to properly prepare the tail so that it can be eaten without a huge, messy, struggle. Other than that, everything was great and I will go back, however, I will not be ordering the lobster tail again.

We enjoyed our meal very much. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual. The service was prompt, and attentive. The menu had a variety of choices, and was reasonably priced.

We were there for Thanksgiving. My husband had the traditional turkey, stuffing etc., but I tried the scallops with parsnip puree, and it was delicious! Out server, Ellex was sweet and knowledgeable. It was our first time there and she was very helpful with menu questions. They have a side selection of bottled wines. I can't wait to go back in the summer when we can sit outside with a view of the river.

Just tried this place! Amazing! Fun and energetic place for people of all ages!
