Best Restaurants for Groups in Cowbridge

Lovely food & service. I was there on 20 November. We left cash on the table for a tip then realised we had already been charged 13 1:2% already on the bill. Today I was there again and I asked to take the optional charge off as I was leaving a cash tip again and she had to get permission to take it off the bill. Had to stand & wait a few minutes as I had gone up to the till. I think diners should be made aware of the extra 13 1/2% not read the small print at the end of the menu. I don’t live locally coming from Llanelli so it was a special treat. Apart from that everything was very nice

A fantastic experience all round, from food to the service and to the settings and vibes. We were a little late but rang ahead to advise and they were perfectly accommodating and understanding with no issues. From the very first seconds of being there, it felt like there was nothing that couldn’t be done for us and it stayed like that for the entire evening, despite having to service a huge table of around 20 and the bar as well. We’ve recently just moved to Cardiff and have struggled to find a standout roast but we will now be having a fixed abode here, the food really is that good. And at fantastic value too with 2 courses for £30! We even asked for extra roast potatoes as we were a party of 5 (including toddler) and we were supplied another small bowl without extra charge. I could go on and on but honestly we couldn’t fault anything with Silures and we will definitely be returning, excited to experience it all again.

First visit for an evening meal at Harry's and it didn't disappoint. Starters chosen were soup, terrine, ravioli & scallops & each if us were very impressed by the look & taste of the dish. I had the beef rib for main which was absolutely delicious, friends had the game pie, the hake & a burger and everyone really enjoyed. Left very full & satisfying after a beautiful meal. Will definitely return.

We had the most delicious pub Sunday lunch in a long time, at the Fox and Hounds, Llancarfon. The roast beef was beautifully pink and tender, the roasties hot and crispy and the Yorkie huge. In fact, the portions are very generous all round. The tiramisu for dessert was massive and massively good. The young serving team was efficient and friendly too. We’ll definitely be back
