Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Topcliffe

Enjoyed two courses from the Market Menu which were excellent and great value.

We had the 'Yappas' meal. Loved it! Yorkshire food in the form of a Tappas meal. We did add extra chips but it was more than enough for both of us. Excellent all round experience.

Superb service, the Waitress was really listening to our individual guests needs due to allergies. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you! It makes it less stressful to eat out and therefore the pleasurable experience it should be. Best meal of the evening was one of the specials of the day - Monkfish Scampi. Looked great and tasted delicious!

We visted The Black Horse Inn @ Kirkby Fleetham for lunch on a Thursday. The resturant and bar were both busy but not overly so. Staff - who were busy with a fair few customers dining - were friendly and welcoming and made sure that we were settled into a table which allowed our Labrador space to lie down without encroaching upon other tables/diners. Menu and wine list offered all looked (and was) good. Forgoing a starter (which all looked very tempting and appertising), we selected some traditional (pub) mains - a Chicken Parmo for my wife and a Steak & Ale Pie with a side order of Red Cabbage for myself. Both came as generous portions, with no real needs for my side, and both were absolutely delicious Food, when it arrived, was provided for a good generous portion and absolutely delicious. The generous size of our mains meant that we diecuded to forgo a dessert (although we were really tempted). Overall service was decently paced and appropriately attentive - perfect for our desired leisurely lunch. Nice to have no overbearing piped background music. All in all an absolutely delight...

Excellent from walking through the door , friendly , polite staff, great welcome .shown to Our table, there was no rush to order . We ordered drinks and browsed the menu ! Excellent staff & food was amazing. Will definitely be back thank u !
