Five stars for Roam! It is one of the few restaurants in Bend that actually takes reservations, and booking through OpenTable was incredibly easy. This visit was extra special because we were taking our new granddaughter, Freya, to her very first restaurant at just six days old. We were seated quickly and comfortably, and our waitress could not have been sweeter. She even gave Freya a stuffed animal, which absolutely melted this proud grandpa’s heart. Freya slept through most of the experience and left us to handle the eating, so I had the elk sausage hash, or whatever delicious masterpiece they call it. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the flavors were outstanding, and the chefs deserve a huge compliment because the food here is consistently exceptional. Do not make the mistake of dismissing Roam as just another hotel restaurant. The service is always excellent, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, the food is wonderful, and the prices are very reasonable. Roam gave our granddaughter a beautiful first dining experience, even if she was limited to the milk. We will definitely be back!
