Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Slough

We went for a brunch & the whole experience was excellent. The food , service , ambiance & location. So we really enjoyed .

The hotel is very luxurious, and this extends into the Orchid Tea Room. We were greeted at the door and shown to our table, the service throughout the meal was spotless. There was always somebody available to assist in offering more tea or sandwiches. We had the vegan and the vegetarian afternoon tea, both were amazing, all of the food was high quality, really well prepared.

Afternoon tea was outstanding. All the items were very tasty. Service and ambience was stellar.

The restaurant was very nice and the history of the estate was very interesting. Had a few afternoon teas in London over the years and this was the first time I’ve never been offered more sandwiches or scones etc. Also wanted the champagne tea and they didn’t have any champagne only sparkling wine but still charged me the full price. Only two members of staff one duty in the restaurant area and that showed in the service we got.

Just a slightly wider menu would make you a go to. Maybe slightly larger portions too. But the quality food and fittings are great.
