Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Hadleigh

The decoration and atmosphere was so beautiful and was perfect for the theme that we had booked, all of the staff were very attentive and explained what each food serving was which really addrd to the experience. Such a memorable experience for my sister and i as i had booked it as a 21st birthday treat..which was also celebrated with a little candle in my sisters desert :) Thank you for such a lovely experience

The Jazz evening is a great success and the food and service are good. The selection of beers is rather limited and they never seem to have lemon or lime for the Gin and Tonics ! Friendly staff and good atmosphere

You must go to the Fancy Fox! Let’s start with decor- absolutely stunning! The most beautifully decorated cafe/restaurant I have ever attended. Food- outstanding! Fresh, home made and absolutely delicious! We had the Afternoon Tea and it was THE BEST I have ever tasted! And I didn’t feel full after- that is always a sign of good ingredients! Service! Exemplary! Kerry was our waitress and the loveliest waitress! So kind, friendly, attentive, polite, smiley! Utterly charming. My daughter has special dietary requirements and Kerry was extremely accommodating to her needs. I cannot recommend the Fancy Fox highly enough. We will be back! Thank you for an amazing Afternoon Tea.

The venue is beautiful and a calm setting with great views. The food was on the whole was ample and a good selection. The sandwiches were a little dry on both sides and although there was a great selection of cakes, there were three of us and sometimes only 1 or 2 of the mini cakes on offer. Everything else had three eg three sandwiches, three scones Every all it was a great experience and value for money.

It is a nice restaurant with a view of Southend airport which currently is very quite (the airport) The staff were very helpful and friendly which was great, the food was good and even with the starter of my partner being slightly over cooked, they removed it from the bill and thanked us for our genuine feedback. Overall i would return to the restaurant and could recommend it.
