Lovely visit to Dean Street for afternoon tea. The food, room and experience were all quite enjoyable. The tea menu choices (scones and tea, sandwiches and tea, cakes and tea or full afternoon tea) provide alot of flexibility, and the value is terrific compared to many other London high tea venues. Dean Street is also comfortable and casual - it offers a very pleasant British afternoon tea experience with no need for hats and fancy frocks!

We had a lovely and very reasonable 3 course set menu lunch. We were able to sit in the conservatory, which is probably the nicest place to dine, though the whole restaurant had flowers decorating the ceilings. The staff were attentive, but relaxed and the atmosphere was just right. Food was outstanding. Small birthday dessert treat was a nice touch. Memorable for all the right reasons.
