Best Live Music Restaurants in West Hartford

I have the blackened catfish and it was great! Great atmosphere and the live band was excellent.

We had an outstanding brunch with friends at the Flying Monkey! Great that they take reservations- that was helpful for meeting out of town guests. Our service was fast and our server was super friendly. Food was great and reasonably priced. Cozy, comfortable vibe. Overall, just fantastic!

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at Artisan and truly enjoyed every part of the evening. The outdoor setting was absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service was both attentive and remarkably efficient. What made the evening even more special were the thoughtful little touches for our anniversary, including “Happy Anniversary” written in chocolate on our dessert plates and a complimentary dessert. It was such a lovely and unexpected gesture, and we really appreciated it. Everyone who took care of us was warm, attentive, and welcoming. It was our first visit to Artisan, but definitely not our last. We had a delightful evening and look forward to coming back!

I decided to come back and give this restaurant another try after the manager, Ed Cruz, personally reached out to me, and I’m so glad I did! This experience was exactly how I remembered this restaurant being. Ed truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. He took care of us with appetizers and drinks, and the service from beginning to end was amazing. We sat outside, and the atmosphere was beautiful. The food was excellent, the drinks were delicious, and everything was just perfect. I really appreciate Ed taking my previous experience seriously and making the effort to make things right. That kind of customer service says a lot about a manager and a restaurant. This visit was definitely a 10/10, and I’m happy I came back. We will absolutely be returning!

We had a lovely evening at Gather55. We had a group of 11 which can present its own challenges and our server, Hannah, did an exceptional job keeping our orders straight with her friendly and helpful way. My meal was delicious and included the featured cherry and tomato salad with a light sauce, the very tasty Lomo Saltado which was absolutely excellent and the carrot cake with mousse topping by the featured guest chef. The portions are always ample at Gather55 and with the prix fixe at $55 it’s a great way to sample a variety of dishes. I usually plan on leftovers.
