Chef Tom produces the most amazing dishes - we were 3 Peruvians having lunch and the ceviche he treated us to was delicious in addition to the Griddled tiger prawns and the zucchini risotto - all exquisite. We were so full but had fish and chips for our mains which were excellent. I am a local and introduced 2 friends to Scotts and they will definitely be back! The attention from the staff was wonderful too. All in all 10/10!

Fantastic food as always, the only down side last night was the drinks taking so long in between ordering and half of the table having drinks and not others. Also the music was great but I would suggest it’s turned down a bit having to shout so people round the table can hear you.

Enjoyable lunch sitting outside in the lovely September weather. Staff were very accommodating as we had to change the time slot due to persons in our group travelling to Richmond. Food was great, they even brought out a dessert to recognise my birthday. Staff were all very nice and extremely polite. In fact I’m going back in a few weeks. Thank you 🙏

Warm welcome on arrival, friendly and helpful serving staff, lovely ambience and great food and drink. All topped off with a tasty chocolate gift to mark my wife’s birthday. This is a classy dining experience which can be recommended.

I would like to leave some truly outstanding feedback for MacPie and, in particular, for our waiter, Ned. From the moment we arrived, we had a wonderful experience. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere, and everything was welcoming, comfortable, and well organised. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with great care. It was a pleasure to dine there, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. However, what really made our visit special was the exceptional service from Ned. Ned was absolutely wonderful — friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. He made us feel welcome from the very beginning and took the time to make sure that everything was perfect. Ned has a fantastic personality and an excellent approach to customer service. He was attentive without being intrusive, helpful without being overbearing, and always had a lovely smile and a positive attitude. He made us feel valued as customers, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about us having a great experience. Good service can make a restaurant visit enjoyable, but exceptional service can make it memorable — and Ned definitely made our visit memorable. Her professionalism, kindness, enthusiasm, and attention to detail deserve to be recognised. I would especially like the management at MacPie to know what an asset Ned is to the restaurant. Staff members like her are extremely valuable because they create the kind of experience that makes customers want to return and recommend the restaurant to others. Overall, we had an outstanding experience at MacPie. The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent, but Ned deserves a special mention for making our visit feel genuinely special.
