Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Little Italy / University Village

We drove by this place and it caught our eye so we made a resy for same night. Did not disappoint. Tartarte was so fresh. Cavatelli was a great touch to start our meal. Bone in strip with bone marrow butter practically brought me to tears… of joy. Best thing about this place was the vibes were chill. The wait staff were down to earth and knowledgeable. Each dish came with a full description by the individual coming to the table. Melissa was our waitress and was a joy. We will definitely be back.

This was our first time at Piccolo’s and it did not disappoint!! The outdoor area is beautiful and just adds to the experience. Alejandro was our service person and made great suggestions on our dinner. He coursed it out perfectly so we never felt rushed could enjoy our bottle of wine and have a great experience!!! We would highly recommend Piccolos for dinner and can’t to go back. I’m thinking about the lasagna right now!!!

Blue Door on Elm is one of my favorite summer restaurants to lunch or dine at! Their patio is so lovely! The staff is always friendly and attentive. Daisy was our waitress this week and she was delightful! Food is always delicious! It’s my happy place to take clients and friends for lunch !

Had a great experience at Farm Bar recently. The food was excellent, especially the fried chicken sandwich, which was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The carrot appetizer was a pleasant surprise and packed with flavor, while the artichoke dip was rich, creamy, and perfect for sharing. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and a meal we’ll definitely come back for.

I went for happy hour and, frankly, expected downsized portions of happy hour food. But that wasn’t the case! Delicious food at really good prices. Friendly service too!
