Small plates, steaks, Home made burgers & hand crafted stone baked Pizzas are just some of the things on offer prepared in-house by our Head Chef Jordan and his team using only locally sourced, fresh ingredients. All our Wines and a chunk of our spirit range is brought to us by our friends at Portal, Dingwall & Norris based in Emsworth stocking & supplying only the best wines and spirits. We're mad keen on Cocktails too! Our list isn't huge but it's carefully selected featuring Classic and Contemporary cocktails showcasing what we do. We're so passionate about it that we only use fresh fruits and we make all our own syrups, settling for nothing but perfection. Fresh passion fruits in our Passion fruit Martini's and fresh figs and dates in our Espresso Martini. We spend a lot of time squeezing lemons and limes too and dehydrating our own fruit !

Food, like life, is best shared with friends and loved ones, and tapas are the embodiment of that. The beauty of tapas is that you can share them so easily with friends and family. Eating from the same plate enhances conversations and brings us all closer together. Enjoying small plates of food with your drink means the proportion of food to alcohol is friendly!

Situated in the idyllic Hampshire village of Chawton, The Greyfriar at Chawton faces the home of Jane Austen. However, this award winning pub-restaurant has far more to recommend it than simply an interesting location – a relaxed, warm atmosphere and great food among its positives. The quintessential British pub, The Greyfriar is full of olde worlde character, from wood beamed ceilings to brick fireplaces and horse brass hung bar, not to mention the wonderful South facing garden, a must for traditional English summer drinking and dining. It’s all too easy here to spend time dreaming away over a pint or two, as guests have done since time immemorial. A newer addition to The Greyfriar that simply must be sampled is a cracking menu filled with contemporary dishes using seasonal and locally sourced food, as well as all your favourite pub grub style dishes.
