We've been serving the people of Braintree and beyond since 2015 and in that time have humbly become ‘one of Essex’s best restaurants.’ We have received recognition from the AA, having been awarded an AA Rosette for ‘culinary excellence’ for five consecutive years, and then in 2023 we received our second rosette, putting the restaurant amongst the top 10 restaurants in Essex. Our food is of course one of our main focuses, but we don’t just stop there. We had a lovely date night and enjoyed the three-course meal. The staff were wonderful, attentive and made us feel really welcome. The food was amazing, and the fillet of beef was one of the best I have ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be visiting again.

Food was absolutely lovely - we didn’t have mains as we prefer to order a number of starters and desserts to share. Service was great too, very quick and attentive. Would definitely visit again.

We had a really good evening. Food was was and the place was buzzing but we could hear each other and have a good conversation. We live a 20 minute walk from The Swan and is is definitely worth the walk.
