I would like to leave some truly outstanding feedback for MacPie and, in particular, for our waiter, Ned. From the moment we arrived, we had a wonderful experience. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere, and everything was welcoming, comfortable, and well organised. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with great care. It was a pleasure to dine there, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. However, what really made our visit special was the exceptional service from Ned. Ned was absolutely wonderful — friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. He made us feel welcome from the very beginning and took the time to make sure that everything was perfect. Ned has a fantastic personality and an excellent approach to customer service. He was attentive without being intrusive, helpful without being overbearing, and always had a lovely smile and a positive attitude. He made us feel valued as customers, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about us having a great experience. Good service can make a restaurant visit enjoyable, but exceptional service can make it memorable — and Ned definitely made our visit memorable. Her professionalism, kindness, enthusiasm, and attention to detail deserve to be recognised. I would especially like the management at MacPie to know what an asset Ned is to the restaurant. Staff members like her are extremely valuable because they create the kind of experience that makes customers want to return and recommend the restaurant to others. Overall, we had an outstanding experience at MacPie. The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent, but Ned deserves a special mention for making our visit feel genuinely special. We had a lovely night...eventually! It was clear that the team was really busy with a big wedding and had fit us in. We were originally sat on tables in the direct sun that you couldn't really eat at and were met with exasperation when we asked if we could move. However, just a blip as clearly it was a busy night, and we were re-tabled into the bar and had a lovely meal and drinks with attentive and efficient service.
