This was hands down one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The views, ambiance, food. drink, and staff were phenomenal. I've never enjoyed a meal quite like this one, everything was perfect. Super high marks fir the cuisine, cocktails, and most important of all, the staff. This was for a birthday and an anniversary, and I guarantee it's one I'll never forget.

Fantastic atmosphere and an absolutely wonderful place! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was truly special. The food was delicious from start to finish. A fantastic experience and definitely a must-visit when in Portland. Highly recommended!

Without the slightest hesitation I can declare that the evening my girlfriend and I spent at the Joel Palmer House was outstanding in all respects. The staff at the Palmer House has this uncanny ability to make you think you are the only patrons in the restaurant and that they have spent the past three days preparing for your visit. The wait staff, the sommelier, the chef - they all stopped by our table a few times during the evening, offering interesting and informative conversation about the history of the restaurant, the wine, and the food. And yet, they were not intrusive; they didn't impede my girlfriend and myself from having a perfectly relaxing, quiet night together. At my age, I've dined at countless restaurants in my life; I've rarely had an experience as perfectly enjoyable as this. Nice work, Joel Palmer House people. Job well done!
