Had lunch on a sunny Sunday in the orangery. I’ve been once before about a month ago. The waiter who served me then remembered me, which was very nice since he must serve many people. As before the service was discreet and prompt but with no pressure to ‘hurry up’. The setting is stunning, especially on a sunny day. We had a table by a window, seated on very comfortable chairs, (which is fairly rare for most restaurants, amazingly) and the food was very good. I had arugula salad with avocado, my host had salmon with Caesar salad and we both chose the ‘no words’ caramel crème brûlée for dessert. Throughly enjoyable and would recommend.

Service was great, good was delicious and the setting felt perfect for an informal but high quality meal out with family. Prices accurately reflect the quality of the food which was really tasty with well judged portion sizes. I would highly recommend.

Simply one of the best prawn tagliatelle I have had, my daughter had the fillet steak , medium/ well and it was perfect from the first mouthful to the last, absolutely recommend.
