Originally built in 1518, the building was the very first Guildhall in Windsor which was the meeting place for the Trinity Guild (the town traders) which since the 13th Century has provided the governing body for the town until it was turned into an inn & public house in 1689. There has been a pub on this site for almost 500 years and is one of the oldest establishments in the town, only a few of which are still standing.Located on Market Street, The Prince Harry is only 50 metres from Windsor Castle. We are proud of our part in Windsor history and continue to provide a traditional pub environment amongst the cobbles of the old town next to the historic Guildhall.Our menu includes traditional British favourites and all food is freshly cooked on-site, served from 12pm, to 5pm.We serve a fine Sunday roast until 6pm and we advise booking a table so that you can enjoy our traditional hospitality.     This is a wierd review, because it has polar opposites. Firstly. It’s a pub, and very much a pub in the traditional sense, with a dining area separate. It feels ‘pubby’ rather than high cuisine and that’s not a bad thing. Service was fine, but without a smile or ‘helping’. Maybe they were just having a bad day. Starters were delicious. I’m not sure how much cooking there was, but, good all the same. I had the burger for main. You know how you can get beef patty’s frozen from supermarkets that are just disappointing. That. It felt like a very processed patty that didn’t have texture. I don’t think it was home made. Certainly didn’t taste like it. Perfectly edible and ‘fine’. But we chose there because the reviews were ‘awesome’. Unfortunately, not our experience The whole thing was fine, nothing to complain about. A pub dinner ahead of heading to the airport. The pub bit had a great vibe, and felt like it could be a really nice evening in there if you had a few hours.

    Delicious food served in a wonderful setting. Very attentive and friendly staff. We have previously been for Sunday lunch and will return again.
