What a magnificent experience at The Russian Tea Room! My mother-in-law and I stopped in just for tea and dessert, and it ended up being one of my highlights of our time in New York. Our waiter, Kevin, was exceptional. He was attentive, gracious, and incredibly professional. My mother-in-law especially appreciated his traditional attire and the polished, old-world style of service he provided. He truly added to the elegance of the entire experience. I had the Anastasia tea, while my mother-in-law chose the St. Petersburg tea, and we thoroughly enjoyed both. One of my favorite touches was the sour cherries served with our tea. They were exquisite and such a wonderful traditional accompaniment, offering a little sweetness and a bright, tart contrast between sips of tea. For dessert, I had the Medovik honey cake, and it was absolutely amazing. The delicate layers of honey cake and cream were incredible. My mother-in-law had the Chocolate Mousse Cake, which was equally beautiful and delicious. And then there is the décor. Absolutely magnificent. From the moment you walk through the doors, you feel as though you have stepped into another world. Every detail contributes to the history and elegance of this iconic New York restaurant. The atmosphere, service, presentation, tea, and desserts were all exceptional. It was elegant, memorable, and such a lovely experience to share with my mother-in-law. The Russian Tea Room was everything I hoped it would be and more. I would absolutely return on another trip to New York.

Exceptional rooftop dining experience. The food was amazing, drinks were on point, & the outdoor view was even better. If you’re looking to have a phenomenal time, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!
