Best Restaurants with a Wood Oven in Distillery District

Alder is exceptional on every level: from the ambiance of the room; the knowledgable, friendly waitstaff; the skill and craft of Patrick Kriss and his talented team; from the tasty results that appear beautifully presented on our plates and dance happily on our pallets to the display of stacked cord wood to fuel the grill. Sooo good that is difficult to keep this short and specfic. We will return ;)

Tutti Matti is one of the best restaurants in the city. The food brings you back to Tuscany, the flavours are just so right, and the service is amazing.

I especially planned my visit to The Goodson to align with their Thursday night special , $29.00 Steak Frites. I ordered a new item on the menu to begin, Tried their shredded radicchio and Romaine salad with roasted squash, apples, candied walnuts, and goat cheese. Delicious, fresh and plenty of colour. I ordered the Thursday special and was not disappointed. My steak was delicious, and the gravy or jus was silky and flavorful. And you just cannot beat their homemade frites cooked in beef tallow. Another wonderful evening at The Good Son. Shout-out to the Chefs and kitchen, service was excellent. I highly recommend a visit.

Drag Bingo is the greatest idea in the world. Performances were great food was great (the deep fried zucchini was a stand out) and much fun was had by all. I'll be back for Trivia next month
