Waitress was appalling and spoke little English. I tried to get her to slow down but she just kept bringing the food, dish after dish with no time to relax between courses. I’ve never eaten so quick In my life. Wasn’t what I expected as it wasn’t busy at all. We were there less then an hour and I didn’t enjoy the experience at all this time, it’s a shame as the food was very nice. I won’t be going back again. First time was good, this time it was rushed and I got the feeling they wanted us in and out too quickly. Spoilt it for me. Asked to be seated downstairs but wasn’t allowed as “it’s not open yet” this despite it being almost empty. A real shame and we felt cheated out of a potentially good experience. I won’t be recommending this place again.

If you want to enjoy great Chinese food with a beautiful view and not be rushed through your meal, this is the place for you! We enjoyed cocktails to start, and delicious dishes including hot and sour soup, corn chicken soup for a start. Mains were absolutely delicious including crispy duck, shrimp stir fry in a sweet and hot salace which were outstanding.

This place is well worth the money with reasonable wine prices and great food. Staying on our go to list!

We were drawn to this place by it's romantic location and beautiful exterior. We'd seen some average reviews of the food, so were a bit nervous, but we were absolutely delighted. Every course was tasty, beautifully presented, and the portion size was just right. Service was fantastic (though we were there very early for dinner and had the place almost to ourselves), but friendly, quick and attentive. Can't wait to go back.

I asked for a special request, the fact that the manager or responsible diner was not aware of it made me feel really disappointed. I was not able to make it perfect for my other half and that was on the restaurant's end.

From being seated to first being served was 30 mins. And that was only drinks. It took a further 20 mins to take our order for food. The atmosphere of the lower floor dining room was perfect for a date however my date wasnt to pleased with the service and feel as though we should have headed to china town. The food was ok at best. My local chinese takeaway is better and that takes 45 mins to arrive and half the price. Drinks are stupidly heavily priced for no apparent reason. half a pint of tiger will set you back nearly £6. Rip off in my eyes. Ill go again for the setting but i believe this is how they have survived for so long. If you want a good chinese head to china town and not camden. Really dissapointed from all angles really

But Food was really good, I would definitely recommend the place.

I ate here on New Year's Eve with my girlfriend, so understandably a busy night, but Feng Shang Princess floating restaurant really failed to deliver on all fronts:
-didn't offer to check coats into cloakroom on arrival.
-didn't inform us they were only serving a limited set menu ahead of time.
-they have a DJ playing loud music completely out of sync with a Chinese restaurant.
-lazar strobe lights flashing around the downstairs part of the restaurant.
-they were constantly moving already seated guests around the restaurant with no planning to accommodate later diners who had booked.
-ordered a bottle of wine which never showed up.
-food was okay at best.
-fire alarm went off twice.
-turned up with our bill, without asking, before desert.
I am really not a complainer or a reviewer but this was not good at all. I definitely will not be going back or recommending!

Repas expédié en 45min pour le 31 décembre. Nourriture beaucoup trop salée. Beaucoup trop chère : 90 livres à 2 sans dessert ni vin ! Seul point positif : le cadre ! On a été déçu.

Overall we had a great night and staff were very attentive and polite.

I really wanted to try this place with my wife. It was romantic however I do feel the food was over priced. I paid nearly £40 for a lobster tail which was not enough of a portion for me as the lobster meat was served seperately with the tail for decoration. I would recommend it for the setting but thats what your mainly paying for.

Very nice setting - floating on the edge of Regent's Park. Food was ok - typical British Chinese food. Shared mixed starter was nice especially the prawn toast and fried seaweed. My main course sweet and sour chicken was ok but had definitely been pre-prepared and warmed. My wife really loved her king prawns. Prosecco aperitifs were verging on the flat.

I haven't been to this long-established boat restaurant for quite a while and it was nice to be reminded of how good it is. We had a music event to get to and I really appreciated the thoughtful and efficient service that made sure there was no hanging around but equally no sense of being in a rush either. The food is really very good - soft shell crab starter is done very well, as is all the sea food - we had delicious scallops. Another highlight was the beautiful fresh vegetables including lotus root. Overlooking the canal boats, it's a very attractive place to eat, managing to feel both romantic and family friendly.

Good food, well presented, was vitiated by being crammed onto a table that, though notionally for five, would not hold the dishes - which also soon got cold in the cool atmosphere with no table heaters. Ask for a table with a lazy Susan. Service as a bit cool too.
